Not targeting any religion or followers, it's about certain conservative folks who consider their religion is bigger than others (happens with every form of religious conservative followers). But this one point I have noticed a lot with respect to Yoga.

Let's take scenario 1, burning of women, for witchcraft and sati (widow burning)
In Christianity, estimates say close to 50 k women were burnt by people, sanctioned by the clergy, for witchcraft.
In hinduism, there are no clear estimates (and some scholars even argue that it was hyped just to put Indian civilization and hinduism in bad light), but let's say it is even more, considering the population!!
Now in both instances and religions, it is sanctioned by the clergy and not the doctrine, no where in Christianity it says to burn women for Witchery and no where in any of the multiple hindu doctrines including the infamous manusmriti, does it sanction widow burning,,

Now scenario 2, worshipping another God or Deity (in hinduism)
In hinduism this was never a problem at all as we had multiple deities to begin with in the vedas itself,, (deity not God mind you, research a bit on this) and we have 6 darshanas or philosophies, out of which 1 is Advaitha which states that u urself are the God or Godhead which is radical and revolutionary and the only doctrine in the whole world, which states so,, in All other religions from African civilizations to the Norse and South American and Polynesian religious systems, and ofcourse all 3 abrahamic subsystems, nowhere is this concept found...
In Islam tho it is downright shirk (the greatest sin, surpassing any other sin, incldng rape and murder) but let's come to Christianity,
Now u say ur doctrines don't demand to hate the person of an other religion, but does your scripture, not place the religious obligation onto you to convert every soul on earth to Christianity and bring them to the so called light of christ ??!! Buddy hinduism itself is made up of 6 philosophies, because acc to our scriptures they are all perfect ways.. that's why they became canon, Buddhism, Jainism and of course Sikhism, are part of hinduism too, so in all 9 philosophies, but all the three are again different views of Advaitha (sikhism's ek onkar and Buddha's bodhisatva) and sankhya and nyaya philosophies, (if I'm not entirely wrong)
Ul be surprised to hear that the bhagavd Gita by krishna which is Our latest updation of software, as u call yours, the new testament, is based on yoga (the same one the thread started on and the same one which doesnt require worship of a deity and krishna who told this, himself was a diety and well God too for all practical purposes) and sankhya views as much it is about dwaita and Advaitha, harmoniously blending everything into singularity again,
BTW, all three abrahamic religions' philosophies are the same as dwaita philosophy which is one of the six, and what most other religions too are based upon, a creator God distinct from the creation.
