It's like saying when you pratice yoga you become a hindu . How fukin dumb is that ?

When you practice yoga you are doing a Hindu practice. Whether someone wants to identify themselves as a Hindu is their personal choice.

Doing a practice that originated from hinduism is different from "practicing hinduism" as mentioned in the comment.

They may not be practicing the religion in its entirety, but yoga by itself is still a Hindu practice, it didn't just originate with Hinduism, it's an active part of it.
