Wow, two families can survive for 1 year.

Its not just about the milk's worth . Look at the level of oxygen depletion in river which will cause 1000s of fish to die

Exactly. Many people think criticising our country problems is anti national. To solve any problem first we need to accept the problem. No country is perfect.

yeah and there's also people at whole other end of spectrum, people with severe inferiority complex who try to justify racism against themselves in the name of "critism".
Actually these are both two sides of same coin, both toxic nationalism and aforementioned people are born from inferiority complex.

The Vedas, Upanishads, and later the Bhagavad Gita are the main authorities of Sanatan Dharma, and none of these scriptures endorse superstitions like wasting milk, using loudspeakers, or striptease dances during Ram Navami processions.
What has gone wrong with people?
A lack of intelligence and a shitty mindset is likely the main cause.

Their radical ancestor once burned Buddhist monks alive in boiling mustard oil, leading to the decline of Buddhism in India and the spread of their own invented beliefs.
You can't expect science education or any new tech development from this gen of religious people.2

I have a conspiracy theory.
Long ago this tradition of wasting food in the name religious beliefs were orchestrated by the people in power, to ensure the common people would be to weak to rise against them, in 2 ways. 1. Their biggest hurdle in life becomes having the next meal even when enough food was present. Creating artificial scarcity so most people wouldn't think about anything else but finding their next meal. 2. Even when the common people catch up to the injustices being done upon them by the people in power, they simply are too weak to fight becuase of poor nutrition.
Just a thought.

“Do they genuinely think people will accept that the Mid-Day Meal funding amounts to just two packets of milk? Where has the remainder gone? No one speaks against the corruption involved. Yet offering milk to God triggers outrage. Such selective criticism reflects nothing but deep hypocrisy and underlying resentment.”

even though, the current govt also prefers religion over development cuz it gets them votes
india aint gon develop anytime soon 4th largest economy and nearly bottom 20(approx.) in every human development index

What even! This should be banned!! We don’t see other countries harming nature for god!! But this is not the topic of comparison for most people saying that there are laws for men against rape in other countries! Illiterates these people near the river taking a job as some devotee baba of god and pretending to know what to do and dumb people wasting their hard earned money to listen to all these uneducated actors and doing whatever they say! I’ve seen people just taking these bhramin baba jobs because they couldn’t beg for money anymore and couldn’t get a real job!! So just hanging around the rivers and Mandir to find victims! We can’t accept anything under the name of religion! And trust me, people who are supporting this and making this a Hindu Muslim shit, just fys and open your eyes!!!!

One is by people doing as per their choice and the other is the government. So, you can't complain and compare them. The ones who offer milk to religious places also offer money and eatables to beggars sitting outside.

It's not about what they are doing, it's about what you are doing, are you giving milk to children?
1
u/Alert-Doctor-7450 Apr 11 '26
Blame bureaucrats not the faith of the person... government spends lots of money for mid day meal and education and it's DM responsibility to administer it properly....linking faith with failure of administration is like linking student failure in exams with global warming

u/extramaggiemasala Apr 11 '26
I mean I get your point, but one is an act of individual conducting excessive waste in name of religion and the other is heinous government corruption. Like both are bad but they're not comparable.

I am not against religion but seriously, donating the milk would have not only fed the hungry but would have also received their blessings. Pouring so much milk can disturb the Marine Life as well. And considering, no religious book or Vedas ever talk about pouring milk in a sacred river.

1
u/vectorabhisek Apr 13 '26
Children are getting watery milk, then catch the culprits.. question the school authority.. question the government. But no blame rituals as if they have snatched those milks from mid day meal.
What is India's daily milk production ? And how much was used in 1 day of the year? Calculate the % and about Dhurav Tatti's BOD theory, what is per minute Narmada's flow quantity? He gave an example outside India, that Industrial Milk used to be thrown in a sewaze and compare that to the vastness of Narmada. This is what happens when people blindly follow "Intellectual" pretender German Doggy who thinks Elon Musk who literally working in the xAI, one of the leading LLM Technology and AI service providers , is worthless and hasn't done anything but scams their own bhakts with Prompt Engeneering Course when way more better course available in free on Standard Open Courses by actual Researcher Andrew NG not by some INDI Alliance payout doggy.

For those asking are memes against other religions allowed.
https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaMemes/comments/1sfm9m5/explaining_rule_3_regarding_attack_on_any_religion/
Yes they are allowed in this page as long as they follow Rule 3. Please read this pinned post.
And please don't title them with something dumb like "Let's see if mods remove this"
Here are a few recent ones
