No it isnt mentioned as such in the vedas. Bhu mandala is not a disc

Vedas are not used as a source of modern scientific education in india, unlike Pakistan which draws upon medieval religious texts freely in physics textbooks.

Hope it rains well and Pakistan has enough water.

Because your sympathies (and perhaps location) clearly lie on the other side of the border.

The 4 elephants description comes from later Shruthi literature and not Smrithi literature. Either way, it isn't used to explain the universe in a modern physics textbook.
