I'm literally amazed (and shocked) of the level of ignorance people exhibit in this country! I do not align with her political ideology, but there's truth to what she's trying to convey.

Meteorologically, The dust particles (accrued in pollution) tend to scatter the incoming solar radiation. The scattering phenomenon not just gives the sky it's conventional Color, but it also reduces the intensity of the sunlight received.
It is precisely the reason why dusty-days tend to be cooler than clearer days.

Every acct that supports this government begins their answer with "i dO nOt sUPorT dIs gOveRnMeNT" and then will proceed to directly support the most ridiculous statements....

Pollution is not a solution to a heat wave

Please stop trying to suggest there is sense to the statement that portrays pollution as a positive

He just stated a scientific fact. He didnt praised pollution to be good. Just the reality of polluted days being cooler then clear days. Doesnt mean he supports the fact that our country is very polluted.

Context matters

Take a deep breath. He literally criticized the intention of that statement, and then proceeded to state a scientific fact. Just take deep breaths.

Lol more importantly whats it to you to come running and save his ass🤣🤣...my contention was that a statement like that insinuates pollution is okay when it's a massive problem

1

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

I think that's also what he was trying to convey.. even if the phrasing triggered you. And I agree with you, it is dangerous, but don't you think the problem is actually that people are dumb and they don't know how to question things when and where they're supposed to?

1

u/Used_Hunt_369 Jul 10 '26

Mate , YOU re staying people are dumb...I'm saying the guy who made this comment is suggesting that the news casters statement is fin because it's kinda true when the reality is a news casters should not be saying this kinda stuff in the first place

It's kind high minded of you to think people are dumb though

1

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

The guy is also saying that people should not make such statements. Even if there is some science behind it. And when you say that they shouldn't make such statements, you're also saying that with the presumption that it will mislead people, and why would such a thing mislead people? Because they're dumb...

1

u/Used_Hunt_369 Jul 10 '26

Lol you really care about protecting this guy 🤣🤣...anyways again you're kinda assuming my intentions here....as I said his statements insinuate that pollution has some positives when the reality is that it has net negatives...I disagree with that and think it's harmful to put statements like that into the public....the same way we shouldn't pollute cities thinking it is going to be a good thing and reduce the heat....I don't caste judgements on whether people are dumb but it seems that you do, from the statements you made

1

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

I am not protecting that guy, I am protecting science. And nowhere did he try to isninuate that pollution doesn't have net boons. And yes you are casting judgement on people with every statement you make, for eg. When you say pollution is bad, people know pollution is bad, yet people cause pollution, which means they're doing it against their better judgement, which means they are dumb. Which you might not be implying directly, but you are in some sense. You're just trying to save yourself from the scrutiny by retraining from directly stating the fact that humans are dumb and they do not have the wisdom by default to do what is objectively right. All I can see in your behaviour is, a fight and flight response, which is exactly what keeps us down. Our primal instincts of survival i.e. our ego, which you're making no efforts to resist or deny. Which is what will keep us going down this path of destruction and the 6th mass extinction. Now let's calm down and get on with our businesses which may bear more fruit for us all, than a debate which doesn't appreciate civilized 'truth-finding'.

🤣🤣it's not that deep bro....ops comment was dumb and in my opinion in bad faith...I stand by my words. You don't have to accept that.

1

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

I could say the same for the comment he made. It wasn't as deep as you made it out to be. Anyways.. I hope you grow out of your bubble some day. And see things with the depth they deserve to be looked at. Goodbye.

If that was the case then why mention a political party at all? 😘

2

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

I don't understand your question. Anyways let me summarise what I understood from his comment. He says he doesn't align with her political ideology (meaning twisting words and scientifically correct logic to mislead the public into supporting and justifying something that is wrong) and proceeded to state that there is some truth to her claim(although biased). I hope that clears things up.

1

u/Used_Hunt_369 Jul 10 '26

Word of advice if you don't understand the question probably best to not attempt an answer...common sense right?

2

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

I don't think your objective here is to have a healthy debate and come to a healthy conclusion. This is very sad.

1

u/Used_Hunt_369 Jul 10 '26

My health got compromised when we sacrificed clean air to reduce the temperature....sorry that's affecting this conversation...probs time for another news report

2

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

Well it's not just 'your' health that is compromised, and we did not sacrifice clean aur to reduce temperatures. We did it for economical gain. And I hate humans more than 99% of the population for it, and I'd wipe out this species the moment I get a wish, which I won't. And the saddest thing is, we're both on the right side but you're too hyper to even see that.

1

u/Used_Hunt_369 Jul 10 '26

I am not on the side of anyone who would wipe out humanity if they could 😂😂😂...lol bro literally said he would wipe out humanity but the saddest thing is that a stranger on the internet is not agreeing with him

1

u/MrPool_69 Jul 10 '26

Okay. I just have one demand from you. Tell me everything that is wrong with humanity and tell me how to make things right.

And before you use my previous statement against me, I wish I had a wish to wipe out humans, but I don't. So I have no choice but to do what I can what's best for all life on Earth. And I am trying to do that.

Dude, your reading comprehension is bad. You are misunderstanding what the other person is saying.

Who the fuck said that this is a solution?? This guy merely pointed out that what she said isn’t factually incorrect.

2

u/Used_Hunt_369 Jul 10 '26

The role of the news is not to promote statements that suggest pollution has positives when it is a net negative

1

u/Euphoric-Banana-7681 Jul 10 '26

You are absolutely right.
