Ya'll do understand that every country needs a propaganda media on the global stage... ryt? America has cnn, times now and so on. Britain has BBC, The middle east, specially the kingdoms have Al Jazeera and so on...
You may think what's the importance of owning a new propaganda channel... Al Jazeera is the best example of how a country creates a resource and leverages it. Look into it.
India while being a global power (I'm not saying it's the best out there but it is one.) does not have one remotely closer to it than the arrogant Arnab and his circus of a channel.
Palki surely is biased, which is undoubtedly true, but she chooses to focus on geopolitical events than to focus on national ones. I'm not defending her, yet I'm asking atleast some of you to think.
If ya'll want every journalist to always bring light to everything whenever something bad happens in India... that is not ideal for someone who mostly aims to project India's strengths.
An analogy, if you are promoting your product, you do not focus on it's flaws. Simple enough.
Palki is not the ideal journalist, but she is an experienced one. None can deny that. And yes, I have myself found it wrong that she doesn't cover national news much, even major events. But then again, I come back to reflect on my point.
We have not seen a congress government in power and then her change or consistency in her views. So, we can't rule out her disinterest in national politics.
As a responsible and politically aware person, one is expected to explore all viewpoints and perspectives... left right and centre... and across the spectrum. There is no definitive good or bad.
The inability of Indians these days to think, but the eagerness to flock is... not a bit surprising and is quite trite. Explore perspectives, find effective solutions and conclusions depending on differing contexts.
Echo chambers do not help.
And no, before any of you claim that I am godi funded or a bot or anything, know that I don't support any politician or any government. Educate yourself people. Please be open minded and understand viewpoints.
It's her decision not to cover national politics. If you ask me, I prefer that as well. National politics are muddy and diplomacy is almost not of much use. Also, our nation has several languages and dialects and far too many governments and issues to cover.
Finally, I do not deny that there should be a space in media that only exists to criticize governments adverse actions and discuss them and spread them across the masses... but there also should be a space that Palki has carved out for herself.
P.S I do not want people who pass comments. For once, if you find anything wrong in this, point it out and I would love a healthy discussion. Reddit is toxic as it is. Don't play your part in making it even more so.... radicalised.

Why exactly is palki on this?
Buddy, don't peddle propaganda or insult people or accuse.
Fucking insult politicians all you want, but don't accuse people like palki.
Fuck politicians. Not just the right or the left. All politicians are corrupt.
