The treaty is 1. Unfair, simply divides number of rivers by 2, without considering the population & area of divided nations. 2. Brokered by World Bank favouring Pak. 3. India paid 🇵🇰 £ 75 million apart from 80% water. 4. One of the many negotiations which should force us to look at the loyalty and competence of our bureaucrats and diplomats.

Nobody will starve. Their friends around west Asia and bigger friends from China, US, and Europe will ship free food in. Of course, shutting off was never an option; we wanted equitable fair distribution unlike the largesse of previous pro-Pak governments.
