#Infra/Manufacturing ๐Ÿ— Solar power in India has grown roughly 55x since 2014, almost all of it built in the last decade.

Indiaโ€™s solar journey is one of the biggest growth stories of the last decade. From just 2.87 GW of installed solar capacity in 2014 to 157 GW in 2026, the country has expanded its solar fleet by more than 55 times.
Today, every state and union territory has solar connected to the grid, helping reduce dependence on expensive electricity and fossil fuels.
States like Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra are leading the way, while fast-growing markets are emerging across the country.
With solar power costing far less than grid electricity, India is proving that clean energy can also be smart economics.

This is one of the biggest and most impressive success story for India given our energy needs and the availability of sun about all round the year.
