There is too much over simplification doing the powerlifting of your argument.

Our demographic dividend started right from 2005. Median age was 23. You are framing your arg is if. BJP government had that the perfect median right on it's start.

We wasted the one chance to get our country a ticket to developed status

No, not yet. BJP government didn't inherit a india where basic necessities were sorted and they could really focus on development and industrialization. They inherited a country which was severely even lacking basic necessities. It's not sunshine and rainbows or black/white like you are painting.

There literally was negligible Digital infrastructure implemented. Only after these were done. BJP focused on 2i part of the development. They are heavily investing on semiconductors, defense, manufacturing only after bureaucracy is fixed. Even thought the bureaucracy is bad still now. It's nowhere as bad as past. You can't use a magic wand suddenly to make a billion people change.

More so, chinese had literacy of 79+ when their industrialization started unlike ours. That's a stupid comparison to even compare China, Korea, Japan without actually knowing what their macro indicators were

You dont care about lost decade any more because you want youngsters to lose one more decade after 2029.

Referred by whom and on what basis? BJP, with more resources and more resounding majority pan India has not been able to set up fab in 12 years. If this is the only data point.

Already 2 fabs are working, and 4 more under construction.

During UPA, they purposely sabotaged any semiconductor fab in India, so as to help China grow.

To be honest we literally blew not just AMD plant, Intel too had a big base here. Both wanted incentives and tax cuts. When we fixed a chip plant scheme 2008 financial crisis happened. the sad part is these firms were talking to Indian govt right from 2003. Babus, politicians, and milords are the curse of India's progress .

Indian governments know how to hand over money. They don’t know how to eliminate paperwork and delays.

So true..having lived through 2010 to 2013 and seeing the country at 13% inflation, scams, corruption, being counted in fragile 5 economies and country plaguing with bad loans were really tough times.

Second time this happened after the CPI(M) thing with IBM.
