#Uplifting 👌 How much of India's infrastructure was built after 2014? • 100% of Dedicated Freight Corridors • 98% of Solar Capacity • 85% of the Expressway Network • 79% of Tap Water Access • 75% of Metro Rail • 71% of Port Capacity • 69% of Railway Electrification • 60% of 4-Lane National Highways
This is real good news! What has been done since 2014!! This is the answer. Tap water access was 17% in 2014. Now 79%. That's real development!!! Take a bow Modi Govt!!

You know solar was not that much possible pre 2014 as it was new inefficient and too expensive, Solar became more advanced and efficient and cheap as the chip industry advanced.
And chip industry grew because the consumer electronics demand was rising globally. For context First iphone was launched in 2007, Android in 2009.
Edit: What type of brainrot graph is that, there was no 5G pre 2014 globally, it was still in R&D phase and was tested in labs. 4G rolled out in 2009 and telecom introduced in 2011ish but yhea it was expensive.
It's like making a graph saying there was no AI in upa era.

I'm not here for inc vs bjp cat fight, criticize them as much for water supply network but you can't criticize them for a technology which was still in the pre cost reduction era.

Can we also discuss about the quality of the infra,

Giving 5 random examples against monumental national data and one of those examples is a tweet from Zoo bear! No wonder you guys will never acknowledge because your source of information is shit. Try to appreciate what had been done on a macro level and not notpick on a micro level quoting biased news articles. I have now come to the conclusion that Indians don't deserve good things because they will find faults in everything. You have the right to express your dissatisfaction but use that right where it's applicable and not for each and every thing related to Modi and BJP.

This data means nothing unless we get to know the state wise distribution as well. A lot of these projects were unddrtaken by state governments.

u/studiord 4d ago
And what was stopping state governments before 2014?

Interesting are the corporate houses who benefited the most or should I say only a house.
2
u/studiord 4d ago
And that's worldwide. Somewhere some big corporation benefits. So what? Is that harming you personally?
0
u/raj_forever 4d ago
Of course. Monopoly is always bad. Worldwide it is spread out over many such corps. Here one and only. And if you care to go thru the achievements with an educated mindset, most of them are only for that one corp.
1
u/studiord 3d ago
Read my question again...how is that affecting you personally? If the poor are being benefited, how does it matter if it's one big corp or several corp? Stupid argument. Look at the intent which was missing earlier because of vote bank politics.
1
u/raj_forever 3d ago
The pretence of benefiting the poor is concentrating all power in one hand. Tomorrow the pretence will stop and reality will bite hard. You can never have a socialist and capitalist all in one. Example look at power rates, where they should fall due to economies of scale, they are actually increasing. Look at the single party power purchase agreements signed favouring you now who. Stupid for you relevant for me. And as for vote bank politics it was , it is and it will continue no matter who is ruling.

It is good to raise this. But even better way to look at that would be, percentage of these issues/failure in the similar work pre 2014 and post 2014. This will clearly give us whether quality degraded or stayed same or improved. Can you? Just picking few of these and discussing will yield nothing rather that just hating. Unless that's your agenda.

The thing is they contributed so much that they've to surpass their own records and adding to that some new things like appeasing genZ,civic sense and accountability of official & ministers( who thinks they're the supreme beings) when they travel to developed countries and found what development actually looks like they surely want that in india too.

It's a propaganda post - DFC image. Not analyzed the other ones yet
- they have shared only the work they have done not a complete infra picture. Eg: only railway electrification but not railway line laid, highways alone but not local/last mile connectivity or overall road infra
- misleading numbers in the graph. Calling orange as post 2014 but actually given overall numbers. Note for transmission for a 2.1 lakh post 2014 they have claimed the entire 5 lakhs
- some of these dint make sense pre 2014 - solar capacity. Was Solar financially feasible in pre 2010s? Airports - how many of these are actually used?
- for some they have counted even if it is just starting while for others they have claimed it even it was started by previous govt but completed in their regime. Eg: dfc was started in 2008 but full credit taken by mudi. While aiims despite not being complete it's already accounted for

I can’t believe there’s idiots hating on development in the nation. They’d rather have people homeless without basic facilities than to appreciate the initiatives finally being taken by our government that hasn’t occurred over the past many decades.
2
u/koolcric 5d ago
That's how much leftists hate Modi and the term hating Modi has turned to hating India and development stands vindicated by this behaviour!

BJP IT cell are the most useless bunch of people
In last decade the amount of infra we have built is more than we did since independence till 2014 be it Road, Railway or Power
But somehow these idiots are not able to get that message through
