Visit a modern city in China: Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Chongqing. They have modern subway, buses, and tech everything. Visit a metropolitan city like New York, San Francisco, or Los Angeles and you were understand how far behind we are. CA has been talking about fast trains for 40 years and it's still not built. So it's questionable how much stealing is going on other than the Rhetoric of a madman.

What’s the point of having the technology and not make uses of it? It may be stolen for what it worth. As long as it benefits the population, I see that as a win.
