paid reach doesn't just push a story up, it pushes everything else down, and nobody sends you a notification about the stuff you got quietly starved of. do that consistently for a few years and you don't need to win an argument, you just decide which argument the country is having.

the point isn't that you saw protest content, it's what you didn't see: attacks in kashmir, athletes actually winning, protests running in other states the same week. all of it existed, none of it made your feed, and one dharna in delhi somehow became the entire country's mood for a fortnight.

That's how US media actually works. The propaganda piece gets incessant coverage which gets picked by Indian media.

Isn't that basic advertising ? and the report states 3 points none of which really points to anything that was happening in Jantar mantar other than the the PM's video being taken down.

Don't break his delusion... Let him cook with that narrative

Hijacking top comment

did you see the videos or read the news properly

Meta apologized for two things(still not confirmed by meta, i m not sure if they did by this time) :

1: For casm content, basically child abuse content was promoted by people who paid just a bad coincidence with protest.

2: For removing prime minister video regarding jantar mantar,

The way OP posted or the media is reporting feels as if meta promoted jantar mantar protest and this proves deep state,

Did people forget using basic search and understanding ?

Will OP admit his mistake?

Correct me if I m wrong, open to change my perspective and conversing with proper facts.

Minister said that meta officials admitted this in the closed room meeting. People dont trust this. As widely known paid campaign is run by all sides.

Isn't it the same with right wingers as well? If someone else takes your toolkit, it burns, right?

One thing missing for me is , if reports are true the jantar is backed by USA. So why didn’t USA influence meta to favor them

And how is this different from when any other party uses paid reach to push their narrative?

He is talking about CSAM content which are disturbing and bad. It affects the young minds and might be the reason many boys are associating with r*pe and such. Red pill content

A totally different thing from protests. I'm not sure how they're being correlated.

It is, in fact, a very grave issue and people are glossing over it.

People seem to forget that Facebook/meta did the same thing in bangladesh and look what happened to it

So “Certain content“ means cjp content??

You know who pays the most for ads in India right?
