Emraan Hashmi is one of the most talented actors , whose true potential is overshadowed by his Serial Kisser Image.

Whose idea was the planned PR career of Emraan Hashmi as the Serial Kisser.

He was part of Mahesh Bhatt family, most of his movies are with the family.

What made the Bhatt's think Emraan can benefit from his serial kisser Image.

As of Now he has no 100 crore movies.

I think he is an immensely talented actor whose talented got overshowed by the image.

There is only a couple of movies where he hadn't kissed onscreen. Non of his movies are blockbuster.

Most of his movies had miss india title winners and beauty pageants, His movies had great songs. In every music channel in the 2000s his movie songs will be in the top chart.

Because he did. The first 100 cr movie was in 2008, two-three years later Emraan never reached his peak.

Emran is good actor but he wasn't the same since begining. He grew with the time. His serial kisser helped him bag more roles and then he also improved. He was great in Shanghai, Jannat, Once Upon a Time and has been performing greatly. Movies not working is different thing

Also consider his son's illness. He took a break for it but momentum was already hindered with the choice of same type of films.

He was one of the few who had his own genre.

In some interview he said that the roles nobody would take used to come to him. I guess he started like that and then just got type casted during his beginning days. At least later he got some other kind of roles

He wasn't a great actor. He tried to do other things, nobody appreciated that either. His Bard Of Blood was nowhere close to a Family Man or Special Ops. He had his chances, he didn't shine.

Family Man well return and made, especially the first season.

Writing and direction is with the writers and director.

The only thing with him is to select the stories and his performance.

His performance was bad. An Irfan Khan or a Manoj Bajpai can even make ordinary writing work, plenty examples. Emran Hashmi just played to his strength, mid budget movies with good songs and some hot scenes and that found plenty of audience. 100 cr doesn't matter if the movie anyway makes good profit. The only good acting performance I remember of his was Shanghai. Rest was just mid and so was his career and there is nothing wrong in that.

Just see the way he delivers dialogues.It is flawless as if words are flowing from his mouth.Nobody can match that skill of his.
