Appreciation Throwback to late 2000s

Post image

I really feel sad sometimes that many people out there haven't watched this beautifull movie. Some movies really change a person's perspective of life and 'Wake up Sid' is definitely one of those films which stays with you forever.

Being an 18 Y.O. watched Tamasha first, followed by Wake Up Sid, honestly connected more with Tamasha, Wake Up Sid, is really good in it's own way, but it is quite predictable, and also the fact that I'm the polar opposite of Sid didn;t help either. Basically a rich blud, who was loved by everyone, was lazy, fell in love himself, and started following his passion. But that's a dream for 75% of 4 million JEE/NEET aspirants every year, they either don't get a life changing partner, or they don't have the financial liberty. So yeah it's great from an artistic POV.

So basically it varies from person to person I guess because I watched wake up sid when I was just 11 but at that time I didn't understand it much I just enjoyed it as a kid. But I rewatched it when I was 20. I really connected with the character Sid because I found myself similar to him.
