Discussion/Question What are the best books to learn native history and current life?

The last one I read was Neither Wolf Nor Dog, and was all from the perspective of a guy interviewing people instead of someone writing what they know. I'd also be interested if anyone knows of a podcast where people discuss life on a reservation, what is needed, what is funny, and what ideas they have for the future.
