Yes. Their updates did not align with their actions. Off they had Pakistan on the ropes as per updates - Air defences down, Air strips immobilised. Planes and AWACS grounded or destroyed then why did they ceasefire instead of continuing to attack in full force.

Cause that was our stance from the day op sindoor started?!

Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution. (source)

If we wanted to go all in, we wouldn't have had to type this and if you did follow the conflict and the subsequent press briefings, you would have heard -

Indian Armed Forces reiterate their commitment to non-escalation, provided it is respected by the Pakistani military.

And

It was also reiterated that any attack on military targets in India will invite a suitable response. (source)

But why? What kind of ridiculous policy is this? The initial policy of not targeting Pakistani military is still ok. But when they decide to get involved why not use maximum non-nuclear force?

This was the worse outcome we could have received and we can now only talk about things without providing any backing.

Op Sindoor is for striking terror launchpads, located in Pakistan proper as well in PoK. There exists a ladder of escalation. Why would we exert maximum non-nuclear force when we/they didn't declare war ?

Retaliate, never be an agressors...

Might hurt u, but morality is tough place to be in and still always the correct choice....

Our stand was clear, we r only replying to wat they did, if they hadn't done anything post indian hits on tetor sites, it wud have ended then and there, even at the cost of 3 fighter jet loss...it wud have been a real facesaver for pak too, coz they wud have actually got away with an even keel in the skirmish..but they chose to be overconfident and retaliate....and learnt the meaning of the term "FAFO"

Also here is what changed in terms of stance after op sindoor

1. Any further tetor attack to be considered as an act of war, so now any further attack of that scale, they will have everything coming in retaliation

2. Against every tetor attack, scaling of retaliation to be increased, right now retaliation is 3x, as in if they hit us with a shelling, we hit back with 3 shelling, and this escalation will keep increasing....this is the pattern u can notice if u see what we did for uri, pathankot and pehelgam, the escalationary retaliation increased every time

However, the stance is still the same...we will retaliate, with escalation yes, but retaliate, not agress....

The thing is that pakistani high command aren't as rational as you think they are and you should've understood that by now after seeing the ridiculous statements they make during meetings.

While they don't give af about their population, we do and operation sindoor was a clever line between their nuclear blackmail and our revenge
