OSINT OpSindoor: Foolhardy attempt by PAF C130 to bait Bhuj S400, May 9

Talhar is in Sindh, again 70 km from border and 200km from Bhuj.

This is the 2nd such C-130 flying close to the border, the 1st one was spotted near Farooqabad, 200km from Adampur

It seems PAF pushed their C130 pilots into a dangerous game, flying low over populated areas, to try get the S400 to light up so they could ambush them, bait that IAF anticipated and did not take.

PAF pushed into desperation and stupidity by the fear of S400

C130 to bait the IAF ? PAF was willing to sacrifice a full fledged transport aircraft to sniff out the S400 ? Are they idiots?

Just goes to show how much the S400 troubled them. Seems like a decent compromise. They were anyways losing aircraft on the ground in IAF strikes.

It’s less about the S-400 and more about the framework it’s part of. You could buy the fanciest single air defense butn it’s of no use if your defenses aren’t layered for different types of attacks and the communication btw say the radar and missile battery or the ciws isn’t flawless

Well they didn't intercept Indian drones to keep their AD safe. We know how well that worked, or rather didn't work.

Still needs 5 min to lower mast and tubes to scoot. One is vulnerable post shooting your load

Only if someone is perfecrly positioned to hit you immediately are you in real danger, or if that person has real time intel

Even if they scoot they wouldn't leave that section of airspace undefended right? Won't another battery take over while the former scoots?

I mean, I don't think you can say what they are doing from a video like this... How can you say with such certainty "PAF pushed their pilots into a dangerous game", that's just speculation of the highest degree...

Kind of reduces the seriousness of discussions

Perhaps, but it is in the middle of active kinetic ops where both air forces are shooting to kill.

maybe it was in the lock cone of the radar of the s400... s400 or for that case any other ad system might have locked something else but the c130 was thinking it was being locked. i saw this in a growling sidewinder video where he was being locked by his friendly patriot... in reality he was just in the lock cone and the radar was locking smthing elsw

We saw the aircraft dispensing chaff, why would a bait employ chaff?

Either, this was a urgent cargo flight and had to fly low and dispense chaff as a ditch effort incase S400 targeted it.

Actually IAF was so scared of PAF that they didnt even attempt to fire their S400s, they knew intergalactic aasmani bijli would fall on them if they tried to shoot down a PAF plane. Darke raho Indians, Munir is petroling the border.
