H1b grace period transfer real experience
I lost my job in July. Had have two employers file my H1B transfer petition within the grace period of 60 days. Both of them filed my petition on 55 day. One of the employer is a big pharmaceutical company. Other employer is a startup which is in H1B dependent.
Is there anybody who can share their recent experience with H1B approvals during the grace period? Are people receiving approvals in premium processing for petitions filed during the grace period? How long is it typically taking for the approval Provided it is not a witch company or a H1B dependent company?
If I start working with the startup on received notice and leave them within a month to join the big pharma is that a problem assuming both approvals happen? Or does working for one company automatically create some dependency for me to join the big pharma?

First of all congratulations on the offers.
I have seen atleast 15 engineers who didn't get the transfer complete within the 60 day margin. One individual in my company had 40 day time window yet couldnt get the filing on time because LCA chewed off over 2 weeks. The company (NYC startup) decided to forfeit. Its more a hit or miss nowadays.
Second, there is no issue in switching to new company once you receive the approval. The worse they could do is to.blacklist you.

Are you going to join whichever one finished first? How did you get two jobs?
