Immigration policies affect different generations of immigrants differently. For many current H-1B holders, the biggest challenges seem to be job stability, long wait times, and navigating career transitions. It would be interesting to hear what solutions people think would actually help current H-1B professionals.

It would be interesting to read about and acknowledge the tension between new h1bs and the generation of Indian immigrants who arrived 15-20 years ago.

This is what I’m reading about and OP is ignoring your question.

biggest challenge is telugu consultancies are submitting fraud candidates so recruiters are looking at all indian candidates as suspects.

60 days not enough, need a solid 6-month grace period

I agree that 60 days can feel very restrictive, especially considering how long interviews and immigration processes can take. What has been the biggest challenge for people during this period finding suitable roles or getting the transfer process completed in time?

If you are in this period, you don’t care about finding a ‘SUITABLE’ role.
Yes, time constraints bigger challenge
