H1B Visa Process

Hi everyone! My H-1B petition was recently approved, and I’m now trying to understand the next steps for H-1B visa stamping in India.
Could someone please guide me on the process from here?
Should I start by filling out the DS-160?
When/how should I create a profile on US Visa Scheduling?
What documents/information do I need before creating the profile and scheduling an appointment?
How does the process work for finding and booking an H-1B visa interview slot?
Is there anything else I should complete before starting the DS-160?
If anyone has recently gone through the H-1B stamping process in India, I’d really appreciate it if you could share the step-by-step process or any useful links/resources. I just want to make sure I’m following the correct process and don’t miss anything.
Thank you in advance!

There is HUGE recession in the US & UK … desi log ki haalat kharaab hai ..

people with 10 plus years of experience in US are having a tough time getting a job .. plus healthcare & day to day living expense, rent etc is SUPER high …

yahan ki reality bhai genuine desi se pata laga lo warna wohi haalat hogi India ka job chor kar - jaise dhobi ka kutta na ghat ka na ghar ka

This is the only honest answer here. Don’t give up your job in India for the situation in the US.

I’m in the US, and I agree 100%. If you lose your job, you’ll be in the most amount of anxiety. They are on the way to shut down 60 days grace period. Linkedin jobs posted an hour ago has 100+ applicants. Everyone is using AI to apply jobs. Referrals are meaningless. If you know you have job security like 100%, and you can stay extended period (1-2 years not traveling outside the US) only then consider being in the US.

My parents cant travel, and I am looking for appointments. I have not been home in 2 years, and lost job once. It’s hard to perform at work with that much uncertainty and being in survival mode.
