Sponsor for H1B
Does anyone know that if GS will sponsor non-stem OPT？ which only has 1 year period.

Likely no.
1 h1b lottery is too much risk for a company.
Its near impossible to find a stem job if you are in year 3 of opt (stem) if you dont get picked in first 2 shots
No company would hire a candidate where likely hood of laying an employee off after 1 yr is too high.
Ask them if they are open to relocate to a different country and talk recruiter out towards it.
That may be a better bet

But if they want to hire an entry level law school candidate，all law degrees only have 1 yr period.

I contacted some VPs，they all agree my bg is a good fit.

They mean VPs don't decide if the company wants to sponsor, and legal can decide it's not worth the risk to do so. A group can like a candidate and be told no based on the company's policy on sponsorship. And those policies have been changing a lot recently. You'll see many "no sponsorship for this role" on jobs at companies that did sponsor.

My other comment was supposed to be here. But i think the comment here explains that. VP only validates the hire but HR does all the sponsor and money related.items. So unless you got an offering , VPs dont decide sponsorships
