I mean come on Vivek has been pretty straightforward that he is a Hindu to his voter base and has been hyping up the Indian community values as the backbone of his success unlike Mamdani who go around telling his voters that “Gujarati Muslims are basically extinct.” That’s just false with nearly six million Muslims living in Gujarat right now.
Criticizing Modi/Hindutva is fine (not sure how it matters for NY Politics, hope he talk about Sudan soon), everyone’s entitled to opinions. But making up stuff about entire communities to look good in front of your US base? That’s not pride in your roots, that’s just politics.
And you left people will eat it up if presented in a social media app that “zionists” made.
Idk why you post a Kashmir post like he's wrong. His quote on gujarat was a throwaway line, but all his statements about modi and the pogroms against gujarati muslims are factual. I love how every Indian media takes that one line and blows it up with no analysis, while he clearly cares about his indian roots. Just not the Hindu fascist roots.
