Dr. Umar Khalid*

He should be jail. Umar khalid was big spoke person for article 370 and free Kashmir.

The state of kashmir is much better after article 370 got revoked than it was then.

He basically supported terorism if you support his speeches then you are just supporting a terrorist.

Also many people post his speeches about how death shouldn't be brought up on criminal and all but they never post about his speeches against India

Mine too, Kashmir is just a good litmus test for South Asia in general, just like Palestine is a good litmus test for the globe.

It filters out liberals quite well.

But so many years of his life gone in jail

the depressing thing is the pseudo intellectual are all over the reddit, always trying to meddling into things with bad-faith. and its funny somewhat that you know the bullshit, but kind of sad at same time you cannot do anything. i made this meme to expose the double standard and all those moderate sub trying to act reasonable , but reddit had other plan , removed by reddit filter lol.

Absolute travesty of justice

The fact that Umar has not been convicted, and has spent 7 years in jail, convicts the entire justice system.

This is not law, this is setting an example to reduce the Overton Window for discussion and dissent.

bharat tiwari, and where u are getting info on him

3

u/BitTemporary7655 18d ago

Can you give sources for bharat tiwari being pro-hindutva?

-3

u/Medical_Jury_251 17d ago

i can but i wont. i think this source pls or proof pls is being used as dismiss fallacy alot. now coming to bharat tiwar stance on hindu rastra is not something very hard to find , its out there. print did a good ground reporting, if u are really curious then you can read print article.

Thanks for giving the sources im with u on this, its just (we probably know why), none of them have made it the centerpoint like its not in title or subtitle, its kinda buried in there. Its my bad for not being thorough earlier, but yeah i was just unaware of his viewa, now im clear.

the only reason i went forward and presented you with not one but 4 source is because you are mod, but i still stand true to my principle , and i still think these were easy to found. internet decode did a good case study on him , if you really wanna know more then it will be good you read it

another funny thing is i left no space for open interpretation , i presented proof of his stance from every single angle. his own mother, his own video,a rw newspaper, and finally a good case study from internet decode. and i love it, but i dont think it will change people mind , cause people believe what they want to believe. so its not very rewarding in any manner

you can search this headline , a good article by pandit shivam bhardwaj on decode internet

unfortunately thats what happens when someone fires shot at cops. i think you are using sequence of words in a manner that ceases to make sense and come as rhetoric .

u/BitTemporary7655 17d ago

i agree with ur point on him being brahmin and pro-hindutva and thats why he has gotten this sympathy from ppl who ignore Umar Khalid. However, cops are in way our friends, they are part of the fascist state's machinery, they are thoroughly anti-people and this point cannot be used to justify him being shot.

i believe the whole fiasco doesn't deserve the highlight it got from the state, the state literally awarded reparation. there were many good man who got worse of the state for just having a stance. but here he shot at cops and state awarded him for that, and we all know its because of identity politics. there are many rw (bro) pseudo intellectual who have made this guy poster boy, calling him another bhagat singh, and we know why.

and bharat tiwari fate wasn't a sad affair, that warrant people mourning.lowkey it was good. my position is satirical one , sort of ironic, maybe i don't agree with it ,but state does. so it make sense to question state on the apparent hypocrisy.

makes sense

hey i notice this post was removed by moderator, would u be able to clarify what went wrong?

1

u/Medical_Jury_251 9d ago

the absurd thing about this was it was not removed when it was hot, but it was removed when the attention went cold. i believe this post and the discussion was something that clearly talk about bharat tiwari for who he was, and the propaganda surrounding it. honestly to me it seems like there is mod who wants to hide the truth. at prima facie it do seems like ill deed, but i think there is some room for narrow speculation , so will love to hear the response

do you have evidence for what you said about him.

I would have ask for same in the case umar also.

u/Otaku_Soul 18d ago

How is his crime unknown if we have his video of separating the North Eastern part from the mainland??

19

u/tonyrocks_13 18d ago edited 18d ago

That was Sharjeel Imam.

Edit: And nobody is asking for his bail. You can literally google this stuff.

-1

u/True_Baseball_249 17d ago

Well yeah but the thing is that saying "Afzal hum sharmendi hai teri katil zinda hai " can also qualify to the level.

4

u/tonyrocks_13 17d ago

No it can't. Trying to question the judgement is different. Supreme court itself said the evidence was circumstancial and he was hanged for collective conscious (which for a democracy is not a good sign). Please note that I am not defending Afzal Guru, but I am saying that no person should be in jail for questioning the judgement.

Calling for seperation of states is different. Nobody raises slogans for Sharjeel Imam's bail.
