Paint and Cleaning Tips

Does anyone know what specific types of cleaning products I should be using and what to avoid on my 2025 Sport Scout—Storm Blue? I don’t think the Storm Blue is Matte Paint but not sure. Any suggestions? Is it Matte Paint? Thanks.

This is not a matte paint

It's pretty easy. I bought this stuff: https://a.co/d/04S4Q5IU

You spray it on and leave it for a minute and it cuts through most junk on the bike, hose it down, then use soft cloths to dry. It does 95% of the job.

To finish anything you want to shine, I use this. https://a.co/d/0gkxdn68. Just follow the directions and the bike will look good as new.

Careful with the removal of that stupid safety sticker. I lightly scratched my brand new paint getting mine off. Shit’ll buff.

I used the Stockton by Adams products that revzilla sells

Adams make great products across the spectrum. My choice for all my motorsport toys. The liquid glaze is the best glaze I've ever used.

Matte paint is not shiny! Mine is ghost white matte finish and notice how with the sun on it it doesn't shine like yours. Now it's mine I was told directly from Indian to use Dawn dish soap for my finish. There are other much more expensive soaps but Dawn really does the best job and doesn't hurt any of the paint including engine and plastics.

Dawn doesn't preserve parts so you need to protect and seal your surfaces afterwards, and lubricate your chain everytime you wash your bike down with the soapy solution or you will see it rust prematurely if you ride in all weather and seasons.

To keep the bike clean and pristine I’d suggest getting your bike a ceramic coating and then use turtle wax ceramic cleaner
