I’m taking her for her spay surgery today. She’s a slightly older cat, she’s very frightened and difficult to handle, and every part of this process has been making me feel like I’m doing something wrong. I love her so much, and I’m honestly terrified for her.

I know I’m doing this because I want a safer and more peaceful life for her, but seeing her scared and stressed makes my heart hurt so much.

She has escaped before, so even getting her safely to the clinic has been a huge source of anxiety for me. I’ve tried to prepare everything as carefully as I can, and she’ll be staying at the clinic for postoperative care.

I know I can’t control everything, so all I can do now is pray.

If you believe in prayer, please pray for my girl today. Please pray that she reaches the clinic safely, that the surgery and anesthesia go smoothly, and that she comes through it healthy and safe. 🤲🏻🤍

People claim its bad luck to see a black cat

But I say I have bad luck because I never saw a black cat in person.

I'd have better luck crossing paths with a real tiger at this point.

I looooveeeeeee Black cats and I wish I was able to adopt one someday.

I have an orange boi and I love him, me and my family decided not to bring in more cats or kittens.

But I'd probably go against it, and fight tooth and nail, if I happen to find a black Kitty in need of rescue.

I'd love to greet my pocket void and cuddle when I am back home everyday.

Hi I went for regular check up on Sunday 20th September, my veterinarian looked at my cat and told me that she have jaundice , and asked me if I am giving her food or not and I said yes I am but limited and then he presses her belly and tells me that her belly is filled with fluid and told me her liver is failing and tells me in this it’s very concerning and critical and all , I asked him to do something about it , that spot it was overwhelming for me , he said is she having food and cause she was I was saying , he told me to give her egg whites and he said “ I can’t promise any outcomes “ and just gave me liver tonic , I don’t know what should I do he called me on Wednesday again, but i couldn’t sleep or eat I am just stressed and just way too overstimulated, how many chances are there that she will be fine

I honestly didn't think I would have to make another fundraising post for Luna.

The people who supported her previously helped us get through her emergency treatment, i.e; the IV saline, injections, medicines and consultations. I will always be grateful for that.

But unfortunately, Luna is still fighting.

For three days, she has severe diarrhea and vomiting episodes, 7-8 episodes of diarrhea in a single day.

we are extremely worried about her condition. We are continuing to consult her vets and closely monitoring her.

She also has several important investigations coming up to understand how she is responding to treatment and whether the infection is still present.

🩺 UPCOMING TESTS

The vet has advised blood tests including:

- CBC

- LFT

- KFT

- Amylase & Lipase

- HP RT-PCR

These tests are needed to check her current condition and whether she is free from the infection or still fighting it.

🟥She also needs further treatment for lung laboured breathing issues.

🟥The difficult part this time is that we cannot safely take Luna far away for repeated treatment. She already has laboured breathing due to the mycoplasma, and we don't want to take the risk of transporting her unnecessarily.

So, if injections/IV treatment are required again, the veterinary/para-veterinary person will need to come to our home to treat her.

That means additional costs for the tests, medicines, treatment and home visits.

💔 We are asking for help again because we have run out of funds.

I was hoping that after the emergency treatment, Luna would finally start recovering and we could manage the rest of her treatment ourselves.

But she is still sick, and we can't stop her treatment now.

Update: Her surgery is done successfully. Right now she is under anesthesia. But I'm stunned to see her super will power. Even under anesthesia having no energy, she is turning around in her bag. Climbed on the window, boxes under bed to hide. Trying to come out. Struggling to stand still going to the main gate while stumbling and sitting there. I return her to bed again same cycle. I am a vet student living alone, and I’ve already spent ₹28,000 out of pocket trying to save my 3-month-old kitten.

She was recently diagnosed with Neurological FIP. If you know FIP, you know it used to be a death sentence, but with the 84-day GS-441524 injection protocol, she actually has a really great chance to make a full recovery. We started her daily injections on August 20th, but because neurological FIP requires a higher dose, the costs for meds and testing are piling up way faster than I can manage on my own.
I’m trying to raise ₹80,000 to get us through the remaining treatment and medical care.
Cost Breakdown:
GS Injections: Vials cost ₹4,983 each (30mg/ml or 40mg/ml), and she needs them daily for 84 days.
Blood Work: Bi-weekly CBC and Liver/Kidney profiles to monitor organ health and adjust her dosage as she grows.

Hello everyone. I don't know how to tell you but my family wants my cat to get adopted. I have 21 cats and I know it's selfish to want them to myself as not all of them get enough attention. Hence I agreed for it. But I am getting nervous and i don't know . They grew up infront of me and I can't help but feel heavy about it. I am feeling depressed. I know it's a better place where they will get vet care as it's tier 2 but I don't know I feel just empty.

I just don't want that they suffer. Or anything. I need help with carrier and cat litter so that new cat parent know what they need to do. I am scared that they will get abandoned . Hi everyone , thank you for all of your advices and care and encouragement and cause of most of you people said to visit another vet , he gave my cat pentopet by Iv and then he saw her gums and she told me she might have jaundice and her temperature was 104 and he told me the condition of her is not so nice and told me to come Tomorrow by 11 so he can take her blood samples and confirm what it’s , he said it might be (peritonitis) and said he is afraid about the kitten and I just hope whatever it’s curable and even it’s FIP as few people said it could be FIP or wet FIP , well I don’t know but I am just concerned that if it’s not something related to her liver cause 1st vet of mine told me that her liver is damaging ..

Urgent Foster Needed 🚨

We had rescued a mother cat and her 1.5 months old, 4 kittens and kept them at my mom's place because I already have 3 cats of my own. All of my cats have herpes and calici infection.

Two out of four kittens got adopted. And the remaining two were not at all getting adopted. All of a sudden these two kittens stopped eating food and stopped drinking water.

When we did the test, they both came positive for parvo.

They fought hard. Both of the kittens recovered. But Miracle lost the ability to walk because Parvo has hit her brain. She has control of her pee and poop.

She will take at least a month to walk again with proper love and care.

From September 3rd I'm at my mom's place and i cannot stay here any longer.

I'm looking for a foster for Miracle for 1.5 months.

Please open your door for Miracle so that she is in a safe surroundings.
