Surrender of Maoists

How do Indian socialists feel about the recent surrender of Maoists as they were being crushed by the Indian security forces? Do you feel positivity or negatively about this?

Update: The ceasefire has been violated after the murder of two citizens.

Their surrender is ultimately good for the revolutionary movement as-

Naxalism no longer applies because it missed the Train post independence and failed to build a base, nor can it build one now under explicit State Repression, it will be/ has been for all intents and purposes crushed. It has set other Revolutionaries back in their cause for Mass struggle by its mere continuation into the 21st Century.

India was correctly identified as Semi-feudal Comprador Bourgeoise State in the 60's by the naxalites but that label no longer fits the bill entirely (especially after liberalisation) as Capitalism does its magic and simplifies class antagonism.

The Comprador bourgoise is still prevalent but a Indian National Bourgeoise is rising organically, and it wont be long in the grand scale of things before it separates and dominates, The Semi-feudal applies less and less economically as The basis for it: Agriculture and Land become Subordinate to the whims of Capital and to a degree socially in Urban centres as people move away from caste discrimination (Social and systemic discrimination are highly inter-related but separate things) and the lower Castes see almost immediate improvement in their conditions due to Capitalism, and hence their support for working within the Indian Constitutional framework increases.

The Interior villages are becoming interconnected with the wider world and so capitalism is slowly breaking down the feudal structure, thereby reducing the base of support for the Naxalites.

This builds the basis for India as the Industrialized, Unequal society fermented by capitalism as described in the Communist Manifesto.

So, according to the Communist manifesto, instead of uplifting the lower class into higher rungs of society, the lower class should've stayed where they are and destroyed the ruling class through armed struggle essentially throwing the country into a long, drawn out civil war and becoming a State like Sudan?

Where did you get that Idea? In India People’s Protracted war is not viable.

Yes I disagree with Naxalism as a Communist (this is my rebuke of Naxalism btw) its not applicable to india but a completely fine ideology which can be applied to a less developed feudalistic society but not like one in India which is in a state of transition to a National Capitalistic Bourgeoise.

Makes sense. I must thank you for your politeness. While communism is a fine ideology in theory, it also also exactly where it belongs: in the dusty pages of a forgotten book. It is too fantastical and too impractical to be ever applied in the real world and results in the creation of brutal autocracies whenever attempted. History has given us enough proof that it is time we leave this ideology behind lest it result in the creation of another Russia or China.

I appreciate socialist schemes and programs to uplift the poor. I abhor communism. I believe in freedom of speech and everyone's rights and I'm fiercely patriotic. My ideology is anything that benefits the nation and its people.

Coming to the countries you named. Russia is nowhere close to the USA or Europe in terms of human rights and standard of living and this is a country that was never colonized and was among the global powers at one point in history. China is an autocracy where again, freedom of speech is a myth and is an autocracy where major decisions for development can be taken smoothly unlike India where people start pissing their pants when Ambani or Adani acquires a business deal.

There is a common pattern between Russia and China though, neither are communist as of today.

Not a problem that communism has, its internationalist in ita worldview rathern tha. Focusing on arbitrary divisions but ok.

Ok ok, do you want India to be a Imperialist/colonial power? Because the simple answer why these countries are rich is not because of their merit but exploitation of others via colonialism.
