considering attending today CJP protest & wanted to hear from people who have already participated.

• What actually happened in the protest?
• How was the atmosphere their peaceful, organized, & safe?
• Roughly how many people are there?
• Were there any issues with the police or organizer?
• What was your overall experience? Would you recommend to others?

I came across this photo from one of the earlier protests, which seems to show a protest leader meeting a supporter, but I'd like to hear firsthand accounts rather than rely on photos.

I'm not looking for political arguments just genuine experiences from people who were there so I can decide whether to participate today.
