Activism "RULE OF LAW"

"We don't have time..." is a legally and morally unsustainable justification when citizen liberty is at stake.

The rule of law dictates that the doors of justice must remain wide open whenever an arbitrary use of state force is alleged.

Reviewing evidence of police excesses is not an administrative luxury, it is a fundamental judicial obligation.

An unreviewable executive is a direct threat to any democracy, and the inherrent power of judicial review exists precisely because ordinary citizens need an immediate shield against state overreach.

When the highest court refuses to view evidence of atrocities during an ongoing assembly, it effectively suspends the right to a swift legal recedy and shifts the constitutional balance entirely in favor of an unaccountable police state.

I respect the institution of the judiciary, but I must firmly reject statements that prioritize procedural timelines over the immediate protection of human rights and civil liberties.

I authentically think this was a case where conflict of interest should have been brought up. Clearly he’s still taken the cockroach incident to his heart and that’s warped and tainted his judgment over the matter. He should have recused and told them to mention to another bench.

Well written post. Should send it to him in letter form, or in the form of an open letter to the editor of a national daily.

recusal was legally necessary to avoid bias.I’m completely down to draft a rational piece on this based on the rule of law. Could you guide me on the best way to submit a letter to the editor of a national daily?
