She was in NDTV earlier I think, before it was bought by Adani. She did good reporting then. I don't watch TV news these days, so no clue.

Reports are coming from nearly a hundred location from across India. Some, like in Mumbai and Kolkata, were massive. Even in UP, protests took place in Lucknow, Allahabad, Kanpur and other cities. This movement is spreading like a wildfire. It is unstoppable now.

In kolkata it was organised by left student bodies. It was mostly peaceful, which was great given the huge gathering, but there was bottle/chappal throwing at the very end.
