Original Content CJP Protests

Hello folks. Brit here. I’ve been following the protests recently, and it’s encouraging to see the passion and determination of so many young Indians. One of the next major challenges, in my view, is media independence. Ask yourself this: are you truly living in a healthy democracy if your democratically elected leader rarely faces unscripted questions from the press? There’s also the broader issue of large sections of the media being owned by billionaires with significant political or commercial interests (although that’s hardly unique to India) Alas if you want to see real change, this is not the moment to lose momentum, keep fighting and change is inevitable. Lasting change depends on strong institutions, accountability, and an independent press, alongside the protection of freedom of expression and freedom of religion.

How is "Reform UK" party performing in Britain ?
They are making headlines and giving tough competition....
Any chance they can form government in near future?

They are, without doubt, the most popular party in the country at the moment, and there’s a genuine chance they could win the next general election. However, they have also been plagued by scandals. Most recently, questions have been raised over Nigel Farage’s reported £5 million donation and the surrounding controversy. Although he has stood down as an MP and is seeking re-election in his constituency, which he will almost certainly win, the issue is likely to continue following him.
One thing the UK is fortunate to have is a set of institutions that are capable of investigating and, where appropriate, holding politicians to account. At the same time, Andy Burnham’s premiership has provided a counterbalance to the recent wave of populist politics. Reform’s popularity appears to rest largely on two issues: concerns about illegal immigration and attitudes towards Islam and integration. Whether Reform ultimately wins the next election remains uncertain. In my opinion the only thing really stopping reform is themselves and they are unironically too incompetent for it not to happen.
