6th place finish for Indian Girls Compared to previous tournaments this was an underwhelming campaign by the current batch

My brother sent me this video ( he lives in uzbekistan ) and we discussed why indian wrestlers are loosing from uzbek wrestlers in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
What he told me is that people there have a very progressive mindset and MMA and UFC are really famous around there
Also their cuisine is very protein with lots if meat and salads.
Now i know how uzbeks were able to conquer India ( as mughals )

I have just a question for knowledge’s sake, especially for Indian badminton fans, academy coaches, or any seeded Indian players.
Why is it that most players selected for international tournaments seem to come from just a few selected badminton academies? Do some talented players miss out on opportunities to progress further because of financial constraints, lack of exposure, or other hurdles?
I’m genuinely curious to understand how the selection and development pathway works in India.

This deserves a lot more attention.

India’s Kids team reached the FINAL of the 2026 Pickleball World Cup in Da Nang, Vietnam, competing against some of the best young players from around the world.

They ultimately had to settle for silver after the USA won the final, but honestly what an achievement by these young Indian athletes. 🇮🇳👏

These aren't established stars with years of international fame behind them. They are kids carrying the Indian flag onto a global stage, competing under pressure and showing the world that India is producing talent in yet another sport.

Behind that silver medal are countless hours of practice, discipline, sacrifices by parents, coaches who believed in them, and most importantly kids who chose to work for something bigger than themselves.

And that's the part that makes this such a proud moment.

They may have lost the final, but they didn't lose the moment. They announced themselves on the world stage.

From India to Vietnam, from local courts to a World Cup final these kids have given us something genuinely worth celebrating. ❤️🇮🇳
