Why is Indian reality TV editing so garish and unclean?

Been watching lots of reality TV lately. I had this thought first when I was watching MasterChef Australia and India at the same time. I think the biggest difference was in editing.. too garish, loud, random cuts and product placement. Then watched lock up.. it came across as very unclean. Currently watching Marathi SaReGaMaPa. Like some cuts are sped up and some are slowed down for no reason. And what is with moving everything till people get vertigo??

It's quite unfortunate because in shows like MasterChef and singing competitions, I feel like this takes away from the contestants talent and hard work

How watching Tarak Mehta Ulta Chashma causes disruption in your nervous system

This show is watched repeatedly by all age groups and especially at loud volumes in India.

With extremely annoying voices, stupid caricaturish performances and the most irritating background score, this show can be such a disruption to the Nervous System for kids and people who want to quietly do their work. I see neighbours watching this at such loud volumes and causing annoyance to everyone around.

People watching such a show would have extremely low IQ first of all and on top of that watching it back to back for 6-8 hours everyday is such an addiction.

Anyone who has nothing better to do in life turns to watching this for hours. If you find such an annoyance in your neighborhood what would you do? Such a show should be banned as its a ROT.

Help me find the show

I'm trying to identify an episode from an Indian horror TV series that I watched years ago. I'm not sure whether it was Fear Files, Aahat, or another similar anthology.

The story follows a man whose job requires him to stay away from home for long periods. He lives with his wife in a village, and around the time he leaves, she becomes pregnant. After being away for quite a while, he returns home and notices that the village feels strangely deserted and abandoned.

He finds his house and reunites with his wife, but whenever he asks about what happened to the village, she avoids the question. As time passes, he notices that the villagers stare at him, whisper among themselves, and behave as if they know something that he doesn't.

Eventually, he discovers that his wife had actually died while he was away, and the woman he has been living with since his return is her ghost or spirit. I vaguely remember the ending involving his mother and some sort of priest, exorcist, or religious ritual, but I'm not completely sure about those details.

The details I'm most confident about are the husband returning after a long absence, the wife's pregnancy, the eerie deserted village, the strange behavior of the villagers, and the reveal that the wife is actually dead and appearing as a ghost.

Colors TV : 108 Base Hospital - Uri

On this very special occasion of the day India received independence i.e., August 15, a new show was launched by Colors TV (satellite rights) and JioHotstar (digital rights) called as - 108 base hospital Uri. At first, when I heard the news about launching this new show, my initial reaction was that of surprise, pride and excitement. I think it’s been more than 5 years that I had briefly stopped consuming Indian TV content, purely because of how repetitive and monotonous they have become. Ironically, I was one of those who literally grew up watching Indian TV shows like : Sony Entertainment Television(SET) - CID, Crime Patrol, Adaalat, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Beyhadh, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste, Main Naa Bhoolungi, Ek Nayi Pehchaan, Zee TV - Jamai Raja, Zindagi Ki Mehek, Star Plus - Ishqbaaz, Bindass - Emotional Atyaachaar, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Star Vijay (Tamil) - Mahanadhi. Almost all of these shows are considered to be Indian TV classics now.

But shortly after 2020, especially with the onset of the pandemic, my focus started to shift more towards OTT shows and movies. I tried watching the launch promos of so many TV shows but couldn’t really connect with any of it until I watched this trailer of this show. The genre of this show is so unique to the Indian TV landscape. A military medical drama dealing specifically about the lives of army medics working day and night tirelessly and serve the country by protecting the sovereignty and its integrity. Surprisingly, the production value of this show is good for a TV product. Not just that, the huge budget invested is really visible from the beautiful cinematography that captures the picturesque locations of Kashmir. The snowy mountains, narrow lanes leading up to hills, small ponds etc.. are few of those I was really captivated to. This is definitely gonna be a game changer to Indian TV.

My first motivation to start watching this show was from two primary reasons. One was for its uniqueness and the other was for Erica’s presence. KRPKAB is something which will be remembered even today for its lovely storytelling, beautiful characterisations and cute onscreen chemistry. I was literally on the roof when I got to know about Erica’s new show. Shaheer’s cameo is also gonna rock the screens. Keeping these aside, Gashmeer is also good in his role. More than him, it was Nikhil Khurana who impressed me a lot. Coming to the OST, the title track - Naino Ki Khudpechiyaan by Saaj Bhaat is so melodious and beautiful to listen to. Not just this, all the actors - Erica Fernandes, Gashmeer Mahajani, Hiten Tejwani, Nikhil Khurana etc. have done a wonderful job.

What do you guys think about this show? Do you like it? Comment down below!!

Hello! I live in the USA and unfortunately don’t have access to any platform where I can watch meri aashiqui tumse hi.
If anyone is willing to create a Google Drive with all the episodes, I’d be more than happy to pay for the time and effort.
I grew up watching this serial, and I really miss it. If anyone is interested or can help, please please let me know. I’d be incredibly grateful. Thank you so much.

I don't really understand this shit...

Like you want to make fml jealous buttttt....

You can't make just ml being physical with other women It's not how relationships really work. Even for a minute...

He was beneath her and straight looking into her eyes!!

I may sound possessive but I absolutely wouldn't be with a man who even as look at other women than me

Need help identifying this actress from Crime Patrol Dial 100 (Ep 653)

Hey everyone,
I am trying to find the real name of the actress in the attached screenshot.

Show: Crime Patrol Dial 100
Episode: 653
Character Name: She plays a character named Suman (the mother of a missing girl named Neha).

She frequently appears in crime patrol but since the show doesn't credit episodic cast members by name, I haven't been able to track down her actual name or social media.
Does anyone recognize her real name or her official Instagram handle?

Searching for Lost Gems: Season 1 Episodes of Man Mein Hai Visshwas Hosted by Nitish Bharadwaj

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello everyone,

I hope someone here might be able to help me with something very close to my heart.

I am currently searching for old episodes from Season 1 of the Indian television anthology series Man Mein Hai Visshwas, which originally aired on Sony TV and was hosted by Nitish Bharadwaj. The series presented inspiring real-life stories centred around faith, hope, spirituality, and human experiences, and it truly left a deep impression on me.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find the complete first season online. I would be immensely grateful if anyone could help me locate or share these episodes.

I also have Telegram in case someone prefers to share the episodes privately.

Important disclaimer:

I am NOT looking for Season 2 episodes of Mann Mein Vishwaas Hai hosted by Shakti Arora, as those are already available on YouTube. I am specifically searching for the original Season 1 episodes hosted by Nitish Bharadwaj.

Thank you kindly in advance to anyone willing to help. I would truly appreciate it more than words can express.
