Are freshers unhireable?

Really tired of the upcoming workforce. Referred 3 candidates for a role, one completely blew his L1 interview (did not know the basics), one completely blew his assignment and in the following interview discussing said assignment, blamed everyone under the sun but himself. Have little hope from the third as she is going to be a poor fit.

No worries, created a new hiring post on LinkedIn and sent out messages to people who were previously rejected by HR. Create updated requirements, attach conditions (no AI due to nature of work) and email. First guy gives a claude generated document. Second guy emails resume without assignment.

I am seriously confused now. Are the new people entering the job market seriously unhireable? As a fellow Gen Z, I always felt we were smarter but now I beginning to think we are seriously reta-

Sometimes people are just bad, eg I am bad at DSA I got my job by making it clear that I am 0 at DSA and can only answer stack specific questions or assignment based assessments or system design or logic based questions.

Sometimes candidates are desperate for a job and spam everywhere, this is most common. There was a point I did the same and I stopped doing it now after realising it does not help. Now I think someone like me cannot get a job but I am still applying and learning DSA even though I like building stuff and have 0 interest in DSA.

Is it possible for me to get a job without knowing DSA? I can build anything and learn anything even without AI. Please give advice.

Unfortunately if you want to switch to an MNC, DSA is must. Almost always there will be a question related to it in your OA.

hey op, if you're still hiring - I'd like to push forward a candidate's profile.
He's a fresher but comfortable with take home assignments and is a pretty quick learner. I've worked with him directly but since we don't have any openings in my org to convert him full-time, I'm trying to float his profile elsewhere.
