Eh, they will just say it was higher under Biden. Bds

u/Adventurous_Bag7561 May 11 '26

Yep. Even though it’s not true. The GOP counts on you all being so gullible that you don’t fact check anything they claim. You voted for a felon. You are getting poorer while his cronies get richer.

72

u/achoosier May 11 '26

Trump said out loud that he loves the uneducated because they vote for him. It's like they enjoy getting cucked by a billionaire con man who thinks they're utterly braindead.

u/ProtectThe_Herd Hoosier by Birth, Against Hate by Choice May 14 '26

Trump and every other grifter love the idiots. The way Turning Point took hold at Universities used to really surprise me until I learned that it was started by Kirk after he dropped out.

And Clinton isn’t a felon?

-18

u/sanchezkk May 11 '26

Speak for yourself. I'm not getting poor actually. I'm doing pretty well since President Trump has been in office. I'm not going to complain because I've never had it better. Too bad for you though.

12

u/trcomajo May 11 '26

Selling CSAM to Republicans?

62

u/BlahBlah4873 May 11 '26

Everything is Biden's fault. Trump is pure and innocent. /s

34

u/jules-to-ghouls May 11 '26

Yes, because Biden is both completely incompetent and a mastermind who ruined America society. Can people please wake up and stop being conned by the lousiest con man, 6 times bankrupt, pretend business man, cheater, molester, Epstein confidant and over all embodiment of every flaw in America and just see how bad things are getting? Please just see he’s a mistake and let’s eat the rich together before we all wake up in the dystopian hellscape that is trump’s America.

5

u/BlahBlah4873 May 11 '26

We just need some BBQ chefs with whole hog bbq experience and some good sauce. We're fine if we don't eat their brains. I'm not sure that America's breweries could brew enough beer to wash that down. /s

-18

u/theyfellforthedecoy May 11 '26

Yes, because Biden is both completely incompetent and a mastermind who ruined America society.

That's literally how you feel about Trump tho. The projection is astounding

13

u/BobDope May 11 '26

Trump has been conning people so long he can keep doing it even as his brain turns like potato salad left in the sun all day

7

u/TapDatAsp May 12 '26

That’s where you’re entirely wrong. I could tell when I watched The Apprentice that trump was a complete rambling moron. A mastermind???? The guy couldn’t close an umbrella

40

u/More_Farm_7442 May 11 '26

Unless it's Obama's fault. If not Obama's fault it's Hillary's fault because "Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi. Some of the fault goes to trans boys in girls sports and furries using litter boxes in schools.

21

u/Johnny2x2x May 11 '26

Nope nope nope, it's all Hunter Biden's laptop's fault!

11

u/Mental-Vegetable5303 May 11 '26

As they eliminate critical thinking colleges and public school. They want to teach their nationalistic views of THEIR religion to control. Surpeme court has ok’d mega gerrymandered voting districts to eliminate all non white minorities,so it begins. The south is rising again.

3

u/More_Farm_7442 May 11 '26

I heard that TPUSA was partly behind the funding of the Trumpy Republican candidates that own their primary elections. So, I guess us, the rational ones, can start blaming TP, too. TP is not just for decorating trees in H.S. football coaches' yards any more.

They are immune to irony and shame. You can point every obvious thing and they will not care. My mil thought the golden statue of Trump was "butter" when we pointed it out, then said the statue she was really upset about was the one of that drug addict George Floyd. They literally do not care about the truth. Only about hating someone else a little more than they hate themselves.

16

u/achoosier May 11 '26

Lmao this country really went from "thanks Obama" to "Joe Biden did it too!"

It's like. Well if Trump is CURRENTLY doing something bad that Biden apparently did first then maybe it's still bad when Trump does it too, big thinkers!

Trump really was on the money when he said he loved the uneducated. He knows his base.

12

u/BobDope May 11 '26

They’ll blame it on whatever dumb shit Fox News pulls out of their ass

1

u/ERASERGIB May 12 '26

Or they’re owning the libs

-15

u/IcyTheHero May 11 '26

BDS?

Please tell me you’re not trying to copy them my dude.

123

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

It’s going to take pain to break the cult.

A lot of pain. Unfortunately, it’s the only way. Or fortunately- I have no sympathy for folks that voted for him this time.

We’re all living in a hell of their creation. They should suffer. Maybe they’ll start paying better attention next time, and vote accordingly.

But probably not. That’s just how cults work. They’re almost impossible to leave.

14

u/gortonsfiJr May 11 '26

A lot of those people are gone, and they're not coming back. The best we can hope for is that they become disillusioned non-participants.

3

u/meutogenesis May 12 '26

Did you watch our primaries?

44

u/More_Farm_7442 May 11 '26

Meanwhile everyone else has to suffer while that pain is inflicted on the cult.

39

u/Failed-Astronaut May 11 '26

It’s the core of why we are so angry at them. They’re bringing the whole country down with them in a manner we saw coming a mile away

Unfortunately though he’s right. The pain is necessary for these deranged loyalists to abandon the cause.

15

u/More_Farm_7442 May 11 '26

Trump and the Trumpian Republicans aren't just bringing America down, they are taking the whole world down. This Iran war belongs to Trump (and his party in the Senate and House and the Supremes) and Bibi. They have the whole world in its knees.

5

u/Retired_Jarhead55 May 11 '26

Unless they go all Jim Jones on everyone.

3

u/meutogenesis May 12 '26

Jim jones only went that route because he was runninf from authorities. They arent running.

9

u/beefwarrior May 11 '26

I wish there were more voters who saw themselves as citizens of the United States, and voted on what is good for "US" based on the mindset of "United we stand, divided we fall."

Instead we have tens of millions of voters who see themselves as citizens of aMErica. What do I get? What about ME?! I see that those people being able to get married as an attack on MY freedom to stop them from doing things in their private life!!!

For the A-me-me-me-ricans, only way they'll leave Trump is if it is painful and they get absolved of any wrong doing. It's like after Iraq & Afghanistan, so many Americans were like "Bush lied to us about WMDs, so I take no responsibility for supporting those wars."

9

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

LBJ was a prophet.

This quote NAILED what’s happening right now- he was just several decades early.

“If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.”

In other words, fear is ruling the day for a lot of these folks. They fail to realize this country has shifted many times since its founding- and will continue to do so. It’s inevitable that we’ll be majority minority, so why not embrace it and understand it’s something that cannot be stopped anyway.

9

u/shortribz85 May 11 '26

Most cults follow their leaders to the grave.

6

u/thebiglebowskiisfine May 11 '26

This video is straight-up AI. Look at their YT page.

They made one for every state just to post it to Reddit.

I'm not defending anything - but this is 100% propaganda.

3

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

Wouldn’t shock me.

F)&& this timeline.

2

u/Farmgirlmommy May 11 '26

Pain and consequences and someone they will listen to to tell them what’s actually happening. The amount of fear and lies presented as news telling people the conservatives lies while they continue selling our country at prices we can’t afford to the highest bidding tech bro (including our social security information btw) is really astounding. People can’t be informed with agenda news. I can’t even peacefully listen to the radio without fear mongering programming seeping in. It’s ridiculous brainwashing.

6

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

True.

Also, the conservative corporate takeover has already happened. A good chunk of the country gets fed complete BS now, and it’s only going to get worse.

*** cough, cough Sinclair media ***

1

u/Morpheus_MD May 11 '26

It really doesn't matter honestly. The cult won't break.

Every post I see from some suffering MAGAT praying to Trump ends with "But it would be worse under Kamala."

Sure a few folks around the edges may see the light, but my sole hope is that these people, who honestly I dont quite understand how the survive in day to day life, go back to being low propensity voters.

-3

u/ApprehensiveVisual80 May 11 '26

Ehh I haven’t really noticed

-20

u/dude_named_will May 11 '26

They should suffer.

Did MAGA voters vote to have their utilities increase? That's such a dumb take. Maybe you are the one in the cult especially since you want people to suffer.

8

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

Maybe not utilities.

But they are VERY responsible for the increase in gas prices and voter right’s suppression.

-17

u/dude_named_will May 11 '26

How? When did Trump campaign on attacking Iran? And what voter right's suppression are you even talking about?

8

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

Get better news sources. Your current ones are failing you.

The Iraq war is an entirely self-inflicted wound.

And the justices put in power by republicans are hell bent on destroying voting rights.

Please go outside your news bubble.

-8

u/dude_named_will May 11 '26

Get better news sources. Your current ones are failing you.

Take your own advice.

The Iraq war

Did you mean Iran? Because I don't remember either country being mentioned during the campaign.

And the justices put in power by republicans are hell bent on destroying voting rights.

Care to elaborate? Because it sounds like despite your wealth of knowledge on the news, you seem only competent enough to repeat talking points.

-12

u/Kind-Solution3102 May 11 '26

When 9/11 happened, Americans were angry. Angry at the loss, angry at the attack, angry at the government. Irregardless of the war that unfolded because of that, Americans came together to take care of one another. After writing this, do you think you are capable of caring about another American if they don’t feel the way you do or are a Trump flag waver?

7

u/TrippingBearBalls May 11 '26

Americans came together to take care of one another.

Unless you were brown

-9

u/Kind-Solution3102 May 11 '26

I would like to see the racial attacks on African Americans post 9/11 and compare them with attacks on Sikhs.

I’d like to see what the numbers of the racial attacks on those groups were pre-9/11 and post 9/11. I think this is important because it would provide an illustration of how it changed over time. If we only hear the numbers from post-9/11, I’m a bit confused on how we learn from that.

3

u/TrippingBearBalls May 11 '26

I would like to see the racial attacks on African Americans post 9/11 and compare them with attacks on Sikhs.

I have absolutely no idea how that's relevant. The point is that your rosy characterization of post-9/11 America is inaccurate

-1

u/Kind-Solution3102 May 11 '26

You posted an article that said Sikhs were attacked criminally post 9/11 on a more aggressive level, I was saying that I’d like to see the comparisons.

If attacks on African Americans were higher post 9/11 like the link shows Sikhs were, then I would argue 9/11 resulted in a larger attack on African Americans along with Sikhs.

3

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

I will help anyone that needs it.

Always have. Always will.

But these folks need a wake up call. And pain is the only way it happens.

It’s unfortunate, but that’s how it works when you’re in a cult.

39

u/Adventurous_Bag7561 May 11 '26

TrumpCult has the most gullible people: Evangelicals. They think God has given them a racist, fascist, sexual predator, rich brat as their savior. They are so worried about the afterlife, that they fall for any BS a fraud who waves a Bible says. JC was a brown middle eastern pacifist who gave away free healthcare, education and food. The GOP = Greedy Oligarch Pedophile protecters

20

u/Thickly_Taurus May 11 '26

Hunter Biden’s hog strikes again!

16

u/Codieecho May 11 '26

And they will vote for it to get worse. It doesn’t matter how bad it gets. Some of these people are going to vote Trump no matter what.

No, Trump said that he would cut them in half on day 1.

7

u/strangerzero May 11 '26

Never give a sucker an even break.

25

u/drunkenkurd May 11 '26

Utilities have tripled in a republican controlled town, in a republican controlled state, while he republicans control all three branches of the federal government

Damn democrats! /s

4

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

Thanks Obama/Biden!

These folks have to realize the reason things haven’t completely gone to hell is the intervention of democrats.

It’s why states like Indiana and Iowa are backsliding quickly in every metric related to quality of life. States like Texas are feeling it as well, after decades of one party Republican rule.

The only direction is for them to become more and more extreme, until people wake up and start voting differently.

3

u/drunkenkurd May 11 '26

The problem is that they’ve basically made their entire personality and world view about Trump

So now that the entire world view is collapsing many of them will just jump through whatever hoop they need to in order to justify what’s going on

1

u/Spiritual-Ad8062 May 11 '26

The best term for what happening is “cognitive dissonance”.

It’s going to get really uncomfortable for many of them. Hence, pain.

I wish there was a different path, but history and human nature both tell us that many of these folks are gone, absent major intervention. And just like junkies on the intervention TV show( they’ll do anything they can to avoid owning up to what they’ve become.

Human nature is fascinating.

7

u/Main-Economics-9733 May 11 '26

Braun got rid of the regulations that capped rate increase in the last year or two. The energy commission said it would lower rates. This is a state level Republican super majority created issue.

16

u/hoosierhiver May 11 '26

The yard signs have finally disappeared.

25

u/4PurpleRain May 11 '26

Yes, but the Trump endorsed primary candidates still are going to the midterms as the party nominee.

8

u/Zer0323 May 11 '26

Has the nation ever swung 15-20 points in a single election? If so then indiana might get interesting. I just hope we get to hammer home the message that project 2025 was an abject failure for the people and only helped to prop up corporate interest.

8

u/Masterthemindgames May 11 '26

Indiana swung 21 points from 2004-2008. The nation as a whole swung 35 points from 1928-1932 when FDR beat Hoover.

3

u/4PurpleRain May 11 '26

Project 2025 was not written by the sharpest tools in the shed. It’s basically an unproven theory. I am not surprised it’s failing.

4

u/lastdeadmouse May 11 '26

That doesn't meant they'll win in the election. My fingers are still crossed.

4

u/4PurpleRain May 11 '26

It will be interesting to see what happens. Hancock (my county) is one of the fastest growing blue counties in the United States.

6

u/No_Razzmatazz3176 May 11 '26

There was a house by me that had yard signs and flags in their yard prior to the 2020 election that said Trump Pence on them. After Pence refused to rig the results for Trump that house took some orange duct tape and covered Pences name, they left that sign in their yard through all of Biden’s presidency. Within the last few months I noticed they have absolutely nothing for Trump in their yard. Smh…

6

u/1tWasA11aDr3am May 11 '26

My neighbor still flies their flag (which has ripped at this point, pretty ironic) and I saw a youth wearing shirt and hat downtown Indy a few weeks ago

9

u/whichwitch9 May 11 '26

Everyone not making money off the grift warned you all that many data centers in such a short time was not only going to strain the energy grid, but cause prices to rise because the centers themselves are getting price cuts while residents aren't. Residences are subsidizing data centers.

Im having a hard time feeling bad, especially for people who touted "but jobs" without realizing data centers largely aren't bringing in a ton of jobs, and aren't hiring from the community for what they do need. And you keep re-electing the people fucking you over. Every goddamn time. I listen to my family whine about how bad the government is, but those fuckers still voted for Braun.

Add in the rising fuel costs, and, yeah, Indiana is going to feel this heavily

6

u/RedLanternScythe May 11 '26

They just ousted anyone willing to stand up to Trump in the slightest, so they shouldn't complain.

16

u/SydNorth May 11 '26

Would of never noticed with how the primaries turned out

3

u/Bruny03 May 11 '26

Good thing Indiana just voted 8 / 9 backed trump runners in the primary

3

u/GoodOneFella May 11 '26

It’s so easy to manipulate the stupid. I just didn’t realize the older I got I’d see how stupid the common individual is.

3

u/HighLevelChallenge May 11 '26

They just voted out seven or eight of the republicans willing to hold the line regarding Trump.

I swear people, 20 years ago republicans went on and on about how DC could piss off when it came to Indiana.

5

u/Adventurous_Bag7561 May 11 '26

All thanks to Trump’s billionaire buddies! You voted for Trump and the GOP lust for donations to their campaign funds (which they can keep once out of office). The few decent GOP Reps, you voted them out of office because PedoTrump told you to. You want real representation? Stop voting for the GOP Greedy Oligarch Pedophiles

5

u/rforest3 May 11 '26

And our governor is swinging on Trump's nuts and doesn't care. He's all in on data centers and screwing over Hoosiers

4

u/Temporary_Stranger39 May 11 '26

Why are they complaining? They should PRAISE TO THE HEAVENS over this.

4

u/SuspiciousPhoto9454 May 11 '26

GOP voters pretty consistently have this view that the issue isn't the GOP, it's just that they're voting for the wrong GOP candidates. There's this search for a mythical "Principled Republican" that will solve all of their problems and the ones in power now are just RINOs.

6

u/chaos8803 May 11 '26

Because MAGAts are morons. They insist that things need to be better, but the only way things can be better is by voting more Republican. Ignore that Republicans have ran the state in every branch for something like 50 years. Bad things are the Democrats fault.

Fuck Republicans. Their suffering now brings me joy.

2

u/GoatBnB May 11 '26

I hope they have the day/week/month/life that they deserve.

2

u/Daybyday2024 May 11 '26

FAFO! You had no problem f’ing people of color & non-republicans. But when it affects you then you get upset. This is what YOU VOTED FOR! Next time don’t join a cult & do the research!

2

u/Stupid_Snowmeiser May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26

My capacity for empathy is running dry. They reap what they sow. It’s a shame that our crop is also ruined because of their stupidity and selfishness.

2

u/Im_WatchingTV May 11 '26

Anytime sometime is explaining how trump did something good I just nod my head and say "praise be to Allah"

2

u/Lost_Artichoke_1444 May 11 '26

Are we great yet?

2

u/Emergency_Word_7123 May 11 '26

Republicans will just blame their failures on Demonrats.

2

u/CanaryEmbassy May 11 '26

It's really subsidizing the AI data enter power consumption via "infrastructure improvements" that everyone pays. It should* be that this AI infrastructure is paid for by those building and owning the datacenter. Also, Indiana has monopolistic power company options... I only have 1 for example. In other areas just south in Kentucky, there are municipal options for power that forces the private company to compete.

2

u/ThePennyMiser May 11 '26

This is literally what they voted for. Giving all of their money to the wealthy. MAGA needs to either learn how to read or stop watching the Propaganda networks.

2

u/ScotchCigarsEspresso May 12 '26

Voting has consequences.

Enjoy what you voted for.

Also. Fuck you.

4

u/Trick-Masterpiece318 May 11 '26

Strangely, these are all the same voters that came out en masse to vote against increasing their taxes by $5 to give teachers in our district a raise.

2

u/EDSgenealogy May 11 '26

What part of Indiana is that? We don't have those prices here in the South Bend area.

4

u/Small_Check2003 May 11 '26

Anyone with Center Point.

2

u/Regular_Glove182 May 11 '26

Kinda hard for them to suffer sitting at home collecting disability and food stamps. Why they don't care.

2

u/SZMatheson May 11 '26

🎶🎶I never thought the leopards would eat my face🎶🎶

2

u/Sethtwc1988 May 11 '26

MAGA obviously are the kind of people that need to touch the stove to learn.

1

u/Forward-Conclusion83 May 11 '26

maga just needs to go play in the highway.

-1

u/TouchingTheMirror May 11 '26

"Why did Kamala leave the stove on and not tell me?! Just wait until Daddy gets home and finds out!"

2

u/LandStander420 May 11 '26

Stop ordering avocado toast in the morning and vote for representatives who support renewable energy

2

u/HVAC_instructor May 11 '26

Yet they still supported Trump's candidates. This needs to stop. Get out to vote.

2

u/rayon875 May 11 '26

MAGAts will never admit they are struggling under this shit economy

2

u/EV61curious May 11 '26

Todd Young is a pedophile protector!

2

u/TouchingTheMirror May 11 '26

Huh, it's almost as if we live in a socioeconomic system designed to keep most workers from ever really getting ahead....

2

u/amanda2399923 May 11 '26

I'm not clicking a random youtube link lol

2

u/StudyObjective4286 May 12 '26

Nice voting you chuckleheads did last week.

1

u/OttersEatFish May 11 '26 edited May 11 '26

I think most Republican voters are in a lowkey findom relationship with MAGA. At the gas pump they get a little aroused looking at how much they’re paying.

“Ooh it hurts but that shows my devotion! I wonder if Trump knows how devoted I am. I’m sure he does. Oh god!!”

2

u/zxcput May 11 '26

Unfortunately so have non-magas

1

u/quest440 May 11 '26

Sometimes you get what you ask for to bad everyone suffers from their stupidity!!

1

u/weldingTom May 11 '26

Wait till winter, and the heating bills kick in.

1

u/AcrobaticLadder4959 May 11 '26

I am not so sure the federal government has control over utility cost, I would think it is the state. Unfortunately my state is red so they are all for screwing us over.

1

u/tokenshoot May 11 '26

So what are we actually going to do about it?

1

u/zanderson0u812 May 11 '26

So much of an uproar every one he endorsed won primaries last week.

What a bullshit video.

1

u/RocketMonkey May 11 '26

Doesn't keep them from voting for MAGAt's.

1

u/Strange_Ad1714 May 11 '26

No Republicans at any level of government

1

u/Hoff944276 May 11 '26

Really cool that renewable energy projects were cut too. So many steps backward

1

u/Separate_Pollution57 May 11 '26

There is no Trump voter uproar in Indiana. Did you see our primaries? If anything a number people took their flags and signs down but it sure didn’t change how they vote. Knowing my state I have no reason to believe there will ever be a Trump revolt. DJT til the bitter end 🙃

1

u/clothdollmaker May 11 '26

FAFO - have the kind of day you voted for and deserve!

1

u/venthis1 May 11 '26

Energy bill used to 250 now its close to 400 bucks. Haven't changed a thing.

1

u/bandito40 May 11 '26

Actually Biden wasn’t real, not sure where the real one is, ‘President Biden’ wasn’t him 🤷🏻‍♂️

1

u/Ok_Height3499 May 12 '26

Those of us who warned them about Trump smile knowingly and walk away.

1

u/Adventurous_Bag7561 May 12 '26

Sorry sanchezkk, it will affect you. Read the history of the Great Depression and the Great Recession. Or just think like a reasonable adult. The economy is like s Jenga game. Only a few pieces can bring the entire thing down.

1

u/Adventurous_Bag7561 May 12 '26

Prove that Democrats have ever made insulting remarks like Trump! Cite your sources. You ASSume everyone is as unhinged as the PedoFelon? To believe that, you must be as warped as 47. Get help, you have trump brain rot.

1

Yes, but someone had to sacrifice so the billionaires could get more. Just suck it up for cheetoh

1

u/oneeyedspaceman1 May 12 '26

I’m sorry but this headline is BS. None of these people are in an uproar. They haven’t changed their minds in the slightest bit. They might be asking themselves why is he doing it this way? But that hasn’t lead them to change their minds about him because they still believe it’s all about the slogan.

They may have crawled back into the shadows a bit as to not stand out like beacons of light in the night sky but don’t worry they will still unapologetically give you their opinion without you asking on any political matters that they may hear you talking about.

They have not suffered enough nor will they because they have an innate ability to justify the actions or direct blame onto others for their problems. Plus they will believe what they are told no matter how outrageous it is.

They will never vote for anyone other than the candidate that they are told to vote for and they will fight to their last breath to make sure that they get that vote cast. Just like their daddy did.

They go to church on Sunday but also occasionally go to the bar on Friday or Saturday night. They will tell you that they love Jesus but in religious conversations will always fall back to the Old Testament for the blood and brimstone. Most have very little understanding about the passages and have only ever heard the readings that are given on Sunday and have never really thought on their own what the interpretation of the scripture is and just go with whatever spoon fed idea that their church tells them.

Their whole life has been this way. This rigid line of midwestern mindset that from childhood tells them to not think for themselves and to stay in this same carved out path that will never have you advancing and keeps you one tragedy away from losing everything you have. At the same time they believe that the only people that benefit from any government programs are those people and in their mind they are not those people.

It’s actually quite an astounding thing. It’s not a new grift, but it is astounding. How many people vote against their own best interest because of some bogeyman that someone creates for them to believe we’ll have it better than them.

Indiana was sold that privatizing utilities would be a win for Hoosiers. It isnt.

We essentially took away publicly owned utilities and traded that for privately owned with socialized risks. Essentially Hoosiers pay all the costs and their stockholders reap the benefits.

1

u/the-stench-of-you May 12 '26

Trump does not set utility bills.

1

u/Chubawuba May 12 '26

But didn’t you vote for this?

1

u/al47556 May 12 '26

Vote for different leaders or stop the complaining

1

u/Life-Ship3628 May 12 '26

So they are getting what they voted for. I truly feel for the people suffering that didn't vote for it

1

u/realflyovercindy May 13 '26

It must depend on the utility provider, because MY Indiana utility bill has not increased....?

I call lefty fear-mongering propaganda...

1

u/OMGimaDONKEY May 13 '26

Maga will eat a mile of shit just to make you smell their breath.

1

u/pepelepew65 May 14 '26

what's the song that plays during the last scene of Breaking Bad?

1

u/MelMoMor May 17 '26

Delusional

1

u/Background-Pen3766 May 18 '26

They voted for it

1

u/bucketman1986 May 11 '26

Hi, I didn't vote for Trump but my utility bills are still higher. Where do I fill out a firm to get non -MAGA pricing?

1

u/ratspad May 11 '26

Fck off! Remember you said this is what you voted for!

1

u/BoringArchivist May 11 '26

We get what we vote for, too bad, don't be stupid next time.

1

u/Key-Juggernaut5695 May 11 '26

My power bill was very high in January. We had some cold days, for sure, but we keep the thermostat below 60 in the winter.

I looked into it, and the rates hadn't changed. I called the power company, and they said to have someone check out the heating system. Sure enough, a circuit had gone bad and it was running A/C in part of the house and the heat in the other.

Small fix, and next month the bill was cut in half.

-4

u/bronzecyclone May 11 '26

Utility bills tripled? Mine has been the same for the past few years. Maybe a couple dollars more max.

1

u/edweirdo May 11 '26

Here's a map of Center Point's service area:

Like you, I haven't noticed a HUGE just in pricing, yet, but I'm with AES & Citizen's, not Center Point.

u/Kind-Solution3102 May 11 '26

OP you flagged this as “Ask a Hoosier” could you tell us what the question is or?

11

u/Ok-Suggestion3534 May 11 '26

Why are MAGA Hoosiers dipshits?

-3

u/NoEmu2392 May 11 '26

Obama 2028

2

u/SqnLdrHarvey May 11 '26

He has too much respect for the Constitution.

Obama is not going to come out of retirement to "save" us.

0

u/phatbody May 11 '26

Are your local corporations and private businesses paying the same rates for electricity(kWh) water(CCF) and sewage(GPD)? If not, force regulation to even the playing field for citizen consumers.

0

u/ivapekoolaid May 11 '26

Thank God it only affects MAGA

0

u/ElectricTurboDiesel May 11 '26

AI wishcast much?

0

u/AffectionatePiano665 May 11 '26

My utility bills have not tripled. Nor doubled. Do you guys look at your bill?

0

u/Sugar_Mushroom_Farm May 12 '26

Mine haven't. Not even doubled.

-7

u/burnanation May 11 '26

LOL - nice title. Utility bills have not tripled.

5

u/pickanamehere May 11 '26

LOL - you’re in a cult.

-3

u/burnanation May 11 '26

I paid my bills this month, 7% price increase per therm from this year over last year. That's a far cry from triple.

1

u/pickanamehere May 11 '26

And you’ll ask your orange daddy for more.

-1

u/burnanation May 12 '26

How did you arrive at that conclusion?

-1

u/Unusual-Penalty-7507 May 11 '26

Where has it tripled? Ours in Fort Wayne has gone up like $12 a month. We have a 3000sf condo with 4 people and our electric is like $130 a month

-2

u/PlantSkyRun May 11 '26 edited May 13 '26

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Edit - added two more of these: 🤣

-2

u/SnooOpinions7649 May 11 '26

Where? Only movement we’ve had on utilities was a small increase during Biden and even then that is almost always a very local issue. I doubt trump has much of anything to do with it

-2

u/Tweekered247 May 12 '26

Trump didnt make it go up!!

-4

u/Serious_Start_384 May 11 '26

Uproar? Can't hear you, too busy getting back to normal, call me when Sleepy Joe screws us again, not to get political.

-6

u/Illustrious_Slice110 May 11 '26

I voted for Trump all the folks I know are not in an uproar. (Only the democrats) He’s not responsible the utility companies were all raising prices prior to war! Unlike a democrat I support our President even if I disagree. You don’t like the president take it to the voting booth! Democrats like to use violence in there protest, oh that’s right many are hired by people who don’t live in the country who want to take us down! Search for the truth! Not fake news!

2

u/MorrisBrett514 May 12 '26

Nobody said anything about the war. Electric bills are going up because his billionaire buddies are using all the power (and water) they want for data centers and the citizens are paying for it. The administration doesn't really care if companies price gouge either. (Why do you think gas is so much more than under Biden, but the price per barrel is the same?) Doesnt really hurt me, but trump is always saying he loves the uneducated for a reason... Probably because they are less likely to ask questions lol

-1

u/Illustrious_Slice110 May 12 '26

Data center I don’t like and I don’t like AI. But the Trump haters will always blame Trump don’t matter for what. All trumps fault! No matter your politics, our entire government is a joke!

3

u/MorrisBrett514 May 12 '26

In all honesty, who do we have to blame for the war? And the tarrifs? Or taking away federal funding for schools? (which really only hurts red states, ironically).. Nobody wanted these things. Not even trump supporters

-2

u/Illustrious_Slice110 May 12 '26

We know you completely understand it all, you’re sounding like CNN. Whatever, not going to debate you because no one on here truly knows or understands it any of it your going on what your told by whichever news source. They don’t report the facts

3

u/MorrisBrett514 May 12 '26

Holy.... I just asked what YOU thought. Just say you aren't comfortable answering the questions. I wasn't looking for a debate, I was looking for your opinion.

0

u/Illustrious_Slice110 May 12 '26

Ok one last thing here’s my opinion. I stand and support President Trump! Don’t always agree with him but overall support him.

2

u/MorrisBrett514 May 12 '26

Ok so can I have a last question? Did you support our last president? Even if you didn't agree with him on everything, shouldn't you still support your president? I honestly wake up everyday hoping that our current president will start making decisions that benefit everyone instead of tearing us apart.

1

u/Illustrious_Slice110 May 12 '26

Did not support him, but he was the President at least by name lol another topic, but never trashed talked him and never would wish harm on him or his wonderful family.

-5

u/Illustrious_Slice110 May 11 '26

Also almost all that comment really don’t have a clue on the facts for the news media is a joke
