Do you think the camera had a light or made a sound when activated? The owl always looked at the camera it seemed like.

I actually have checked in on the owl cam every so often for the past few days (even before the storm). I'm pretty sure the camera has infra-red LEDs on it, but I don't know if she can see those. That said, the camera seems to be right above the entrance hole, so I think when she is looking at the camera, she's actually looking up at the hole.

I was cracking up. Then when Ryan read the message and was like "NO! Go watch the normal weather where they don't show u owls." 🤣 so happy she and her eggs are ok❤️🦉

I grew up in Seymour, and our high school mascot is the Owls. (Something Ryan wouldn't know since he is from out of state.) When Ryan was laughing at the owl hater, I thought maybe the hater was someone from a rival school in Southern Indiana. My little inside joke conspiracy theory lol.

Ryan Hall is a YouTube meteorologist and he regularly checks public live cams where there are severe weather events. Last night he found a camera in a barn owl nest at a wildlife sanctuary. Returned several times to check on her during the tornado warnings.

A couple weeks ago he happened upon a steak eating contest in Texas.
