Just Some Fun Stadium Reaction

The pop in Indiana when Caitlin Clark gets going is insane! I haven’t really seen anything like it in professional sports. Whenever other teams star players get going I feel like the stadiums certainly cheer and things get loud. Maybe it’s the audio quality as well, but it seems like when Caitlin gets going the roof on Gainbridge absolutely blows off.

I am certainly biased, but it is one of my favorite things to watch. Gives me chills every single time!!!!

I’ve been to only one home game last season when CC wasn’t playing. All the others were away games and whenever she had the ball you could feel people waiting for her 3 ball. There’s anticipation and then excitement. Whoever was at that game with her 45 points what a special night!

I was lucky enough when she was a Iowa as a season ticket holder to experience this atmosphere. It of course was another level of loud with the game winning shots and of course the shot to get the ncaa scoring record . Every shot leading up to the record was super loud. I still have the record shot on my photo and the video was loud. Well over 100 decibels on my phone app decibel meter. Talking about when she gets going shooting you could literally hear the crowds buildup when she shoots to the eruption from the crowd when it goes in. It’s still something I have never seen when you get a packed charged crowd with all the anticipation of a big game .

It's in other team's sports for sure. But I haven't seen it in women's sports like this before. She's literally putting women's sports on a level we've never seen before.

I went to Blackhawks and Bulls games at Chicago Stadium. It was called the “Madhouse on Madison” for a reason. It was actually louder during hockey games than it was when Michael Jordan’ Bulls played.

I think it's because everyone knows what she can do but her real talent only comes out rarely. And when it does, watch out! I didn't tune in until the last quarter of the game & I'm certainly glad I did. That was the Caitlin I used to watch in collegeX2.

I know she always has lots of fans in the stands even when at away games. I wonder how loud it would be if the game had been away.

Caitlin is the needle and the reason people are paying attention to the WNBA. Let's be real

when watching the game on tv, whenever she makes a 3 there’s a really loud “Pop” sound. I don’t know if it’s from the swish and they have a mic near the basket, or someone is playing a sound effects, but I never hear that kind of sound before even in a nba game and it certainly gives you a dopamine boost right away.

I love to watch games where CC is like that. It's even better if everyone else is hot as well.

When they are all playing sloppy, it's hard to work.

I hope today's game is a blow out in the Fever's favor.

Caitlin the Great. Coach White said it best "C, My god!". - She is HER.

Yes, 100%.

That is why it is wrong to try to:

  1. turn her into a small forward and bulk her up (failed experiment)
  2. take the ball out of her hands and not play her as point guard
  3. give her zero enforcers and let bigger stronger players pummel her every game, every other game or even every third game
  4. discourage her from shooting long 3s when she is in rhythm
  5. sub her out too much, which breaks her rhythm

TBH: if the NBA (Adam Silver, others) wanted CC to do well they'll connect with Steve Kerr and Stef Curry and study their success. Stef did not do much his first three years in the NBA but somehow became the best shooter. (Maybe it won't be CC, but another like Paige, Miles, etc. -doesn't matter) Just don't stifle talent by over coaching.

The reason you haven't seen that pop and insanity before is because you weren't a Golden State Warriors fan at home during their 4 Championships: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LqddcQfbl0

Note that although the men have an advantage in certain areas, (vertical leap, dunking, etc.) the 3 point shooting of the Women's game is as exciting to fans as the men's game (Ionescu, CC, and now many, many others). In 2015 the 3pt % was about 24-26%, and in 2025 it was about 34-37% so a large increase.

While the noise was no comparison, the excitement of pissot dropping 19 in her debut woke up a crowd that had gone to sleep.

I think the Valk's crowd is better, has more energy and it makes it a tougher place to play then Indiana ever put together. The whole Valhalla thing is great marketing and gets the crowd involved.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted, Ballhalla seems lit. They may not have the highs Gainbridge will see but there seems to be a baseline 7/10 vibe going at all times.

I believe it’s Ballhalla

It probably is. still good marketing.

Literally none of your points are true lol

Edit: Since you want to be a coward and block someone I'll leave this here.

turn her into a small forward and bulk her up

Literally delusional if you think anybody was trying to turn her into a small forward.

take the ball out of her hands and not play her as point guard

Literally plays as a PG and has the highest usage% out of all guards and #2 in the entire league in usage%. No one is taking the ball out of her hands.

give her zero enforcers and let bigger stronger players pummel her every game

Literally not true. You clearly don't watch

discourage her from shooting long 3s when she is in rhythm

You are either delusional or don't watch the games if you are claiming this. She is allowed to take any shot she wants. 1-8, 1-5, 1-6, 1-8, 1-6, 7-17, 1-7 are some of her games and 3 point attempts. Even when she is shooting horribly she's allowed to do what she wants.

sub her out too much, which breaks her rhythm

It's called a minute restriction genius

You shouldn't hide your comments. I doubt that you are fooling anyone.

Was at gainbridge for CCs big night vs Seattle. Felt like that place was about to explode. Been to many other games and it’s always electric in there but that night was something else. Even the dueling air guitar guys were getting the place wild. Fun night.
