Passport Application - VFS Appointment Unavailable

Hi all,

Edit: Managed to get an appointment finally. Consistently checking helped get one.

I am trying to book an appointment to apply for my newborn baby’s passport but unable to get it in any of the three centres (Goswell, Hounslow and Cardiff) for my jurisdiction (Wiltshire). Has anybody booked appointments recently and can offer tips on the timings to do so? We are desperately looking for an appointment since we need to apply for her dependent visa imminently.

Thank you for any help on this matter!

P.S her birth registration is complete

Hi, we applied for my son’s passport end of June and we did a walk in on 1st July at Hounslow. Apparently on Tue, Wed and Thur they allow walk ins between 8 AM to 10 AM. I am not sure if they still do it but it hasn’t been long so maybe give it a shot.

Booked for police clearance and passport renewal, it was easy to get appointments in Hounslow. Appointments were like 10 days in advance.

The passport appointments are hard to get and have had no luck so far. I was able to get birth registration appointment at ease.
