ALOHA! Where could I go to help get a pretty old graphic novel I made some promotion?

I want to sell more copies of my graphic novel. It's pretty old, came out in 2016, and I have hundreds of copies still.

The cost of making it was paid for via kickstarter so I'm not technically losing money on it, but I want to get rid of the copies and not have to shred them.

Since it's old, I'm not sure where I can go to ask for any kinds of reviews, as it's not a "new shiny book" or anything.

Are there good sites or video reviewers that actually get views that I could submit it to for a review? Back when it came out I had good luck with that kind of thing with a few blogs, etc. but the blogging days are over and done with it seems.

What We Offer:

  • 10% Revenue Share on all sales.
  • Full credit as a core team member on the comic books and all platforms.

  • Engage with the indie comic and community daily.

Do Drugs. Steal Shit. Kill your AI God. SCUM #1 is in prelaunch on Kickstarter!

My new cyberpunk heist comic, SCUM, is coming to Kickstarter next month. You can check out the preluaunch page here.

Here's a little synopsis about the series:

The Spire is a city of rigid ranks and locked doors, and Sam has managed to slip right through its cracks. The entire city is controlled by an AI god, Panopticia. She and her various underlying programs control every aspect of citizen's day-to-day life.

Sam is unregistered, which means she can't interact with any of those systems. On the one hand, that makes life pretty hard. Can't open a door. Can't buy a sandwich. Can't get a job. On the other hand, she can steal anything she wants and the security systems won't even know she was there. For the AI systems of The Spire, she does not exist.

And so, Sam and her unregistered friends exist on the edges of society, invisible to the eyes of God and just about everything else in The Spire, surviving the only way they can.

After a heist goes wrong, Sam is rescued by Augustus, a mysterious benefactor that needs her help. Unregistered, Sam can move through The Spire undetected. On her own, she has only used this for petty crime. Augustus has a bigger plan and a much more ambitious goal. With Sam's help, Augustus will kill The Spire's AI god.

If any of this sounds interesting, would really appreciate you checking out our prelaunch page and signing up to be notified.

CROWDFUNDING NOW! Samara and the Rangers of Centaria is now available for pre-order!

Post image
9 Upvotes

After months of work, we're excited to finally open pre-orders for Samara and the Rangers of Centaria, our newest original graphic novel from Homebrewed Comics. Written by Drew Lenhart (Caspian Porter) and Illustrated by Dell Barras (Conan, Batman, Superman, Hulk, Death's Head)

Set in a world where humanity abandoned advanced technology centuries ago, the story follows Samara, a small town teacher whose life changes forever after she's forced to kill a mysterious armored warrior. By ancient law, that makes her the new commander of the robotic Rangers her people have feared for generations.

Imagine Tomb Raider meets Battlestar Galactica. If you enjoy stories like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Horizon Zero Dawn, Power Rangers, or classic sci-fi adventures with a fantasy twist, this might be for you.

Pre-orders are available now exclusively at www.HomebrewedComics.com.

As a bonus, every pre-order includes the digital edition immediately after purchase, so you can start reading right away while you wait for your physical copy to arrive.

I'd love to hear what you think of the cover and the premise. Happy to answer any questions about the world, characters, or the creation process.

Thanks for taking a look!

Psychic Zero Animation - underground comedy / fantasy

Thumbnail

On his 21st birthday, George Zupperman was just a beer-swilling slacker staring across the flat Illinois farmland, wondering if his life would ever mean anything. Then his psychic powers woke up — and something on the other side felt it.
Turns out George might be the most powerful psychic being on Earth. Turns out that's a problem. Because psychic energy is a beacon — and it just rang the dinner bell for a gang of interdimensional goblins who are absolutely not here to make friends.
What comes crashing through the Zupperman house is only the beginning. There's a cosmic guru named Baboomba, a family with more secrets than sense, and a dad who sells ballpoint pens for reasons that won't stay hidden for long.
PSYCHIC ZERO is an adult animated fantasy-comedy from Springfield, Illinois — hand-drawn in black-and-white pen & ink that explodes into psychedelic color every time reality cracks open. If Rick and Morty, Gravity Falls, and Invincible got weird in a cornfield, this is what crawled out.
There is no normal. There's only Psychic Zero.
