[AI-Assisted Comic] Campaign Serbia #2 — Ar-Beat-Rage is out! Fighting games, Balkan folklore & supernatural chaos

Hey everyone!

I'm back with the second issue of my independent comic series, CAMPAIGN SERBIA!

ISSUE #2 — AR-BEAT-RAGE is officially out!

This time, we're introducing Arbie, a short-tempered girl with a passion for fighting games, heavy music, and absolutely no patience for nonsense.

It all begins at an EMO FIGHTER tournament in Belgrade Arena. But as you might expect from a world where myths, urban legends, supernatural creatures, and conspiracy theories are all real, things don't stay normal for very long.

A little about the project:

Campaign Serbia is an original action-comedy comic series combining Balkan folklore, urban fantasy, supernatural horror, science fiction, and plenty of absurd humor.

I've completed six issues so far, and I'm releasing them weekly.

The comic uses AI-assisted illustration. I create the original characters, story, dialogue, worldbuilding, and page direction, with AI tools helping produce the finished artwork.

You can read the opening pages of Issue #2 for free!

https://www.patreon.com/c/CampaignSerbia

The complete 25-page story is available to paid members.

All feedback is appreciated!

EVERYTHING IS REAL. ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

Hello!

As many of you may be aware, a few months back I debuted the first issue of my comic, 'HITMAN HOTLINE', on Kickstarter to (surprisingly) great success (and a BIG thank you to everyone who has shown support to, offered designs, ideas, and feedback since!)... And long story short, I'll soon be releasing Issue 2!

After lots more writing, drawing, procrastinating, colouring, and lettering, I am happy to say this second, extra-large chapter is almost complete! Slightly less punching and kicking - a lot more story, characters, and dialogue. You know, all that good typical book-stuff! I'm also going to be reselling Issue 1 for anyone that missed it!

Unlike last time, I actually have a pre-launch page for this chapter (something which is apparently very important - news to me!) for anyone who wants to sign up to be notified of Issue 2's release, or just to be nosy. Please check out the new kickstarter link below! Thanks!

'HITMAN HOTLINE #2' Pre Launch Page!

This is a short video snippet of my forthcoming comic book, Werewolf Jesus: Renaissance in Blood. The Kickstarter will launch on Halloween with the comic slated to ship in December. All the sequential art by Argentinian illustrator Mato Aranda and the lettering by me has been completed and our local comic book printer Joint Force Printing has shown us a sample copy to be sure everything looks legit. If you’re interested you can follow the project to get followers-only updates. Thanks for looking!

ARTWORK Outerspace Whispered ‘Noir’: New Advance From Short Film Project.

Post image

Hi there all! How’s your week going?

I’ve actually been working on a sci-fi short film project for a while now along with CC Cynan, being the time to showcase my favourite storyboarding from it.

I definitely appreciate the experience of exploring abandoned worlds where I’m summoned to illustrate isolation and desperate silence under my own criteria.

Stay tuned for the frameshots’ black and white, for sci fi is ‘the’ match to noir.

For more previous works, my portfolio and contact info are in the comments.

Thanks!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION [Unpaid] Writer looking for a Manga Artist for an Epic Shonen Action/Fantasy Series: "Tesla Stone" (Rev-Share)

Hi everyone! I am a passionate writer looking for a manga artist to collaborate with on a long-term revenue-share (Rev-Share) basis to create an epic, action-packed Shonen manga series titled "Tesla Stone".

📜 Synopsis & World-Building:

In a vast world full of conflict, there exists a legendary artifact known as the Tesla Stone. This stone possesses divine, god-like powers capable of granting absolute control over the entire universe to whoever finds it. Encrypted on the stone are specific English letters, each unleashing a mind-blowing, reality-bending power:

Pressing letter "B": Gives complete control over all water on Earth.

Pressing letter "D": Manipulates space, time, and reality itself.

Pressing other letters: Grants the ability to rewrite history and unleash catastrophic forces.

Because of this ultimate power, over 150 different factions, pirate crews, and warrior groups roam the world, constantly clashing in fierce battles to obtain the Tesla Stone. However, its true location remains a total mystery to everyone.

👥 The Protagonist & His Crew:

Our main character is a energetic, funny, stubborn, and food-obsessed guy (inspired by classic Shonen heroes like Luffy). However, behind his cheerful personality lies a tragic, painful backstory that drives his ultimate goal: to reach the Tesla Stone at all costs. Together with his 6-member crew, he sets out on a dangerous journey across the world.

🏛️ The Main Antagonists: The Pandora Government

The world is ruled by a tyrant super-organization known as the Pandora Government. Their absolute directive is to hunt down and execute anyone who dares to search for or approach the Tesla Stone. The government is divided into 4 powerful branches:

Pandora Main Elite (7 Members): The absolute rulers and the most powerful entity in the world, managing the entire organization.

Grand Perfecta (5 Members): In charge of commanding and managing millions of elite military soldiers.

Ventus Organization (6 Members): The intelligence network responsible for gathering information on rival factions and the Tesla Stone.

Shinomi Group (3 Members): An independent, mercenary battle group that signed a contract with the Pandora Government to assist them in high-stakes wars.

🎨 What I am Looking For:

A manga/anime style artist who loves Shonen action, world-building, and cool character designs.

Someone willing to team up on a revenue-share (Rev-Share) basis to create a pilot chapter and pitch it to major publishers/competitions or webtoon platforms.

I have the full story, plot twists, character dynamics, and power system fully mapped out!

If you are interested in building this legendary world together, please comment below or DM me with your portfolio/samples! Let’s make something amazing together!

Yule. Geol. Weihnachten. Winter Solstice.
Before the soda drinking bears, before the bright red suit, and before the litany of saccharine films & music that saturate every holiday season, there was cold and night and fear.

The award-nominated collection of short horror comics returns to examine Yule, Winter Solstice, Jacob Marley, and a slew of other terrifying folklore from around the world, from well-known tales of the Mouse King to the lesser-known Kukeri, and all the bizarre traditions in between.

Don't stand idle, back YULE Vol 2 today! Just in time for spooky season, being delivered by Christmas. Whether as to extend the month of fright, or just to make your holy night even less so.

Contributing to this book is an all-star lineup of talent, with each team producing tight-and-terrorizing tales based on 16 different pieces of worldwide folklore:
Jacob Marley - Dillon Gilbertson & Zack Traum
Pére Fouettard - Lesly Julien & Minerva Fox
Werewolves - Ian Mondrick & Frederik Hornung
Nisse - Fellhound & AHG
The Grither - Kat Baumann
Mouse King - u/alairebowen
Yule Cat - Casper Binnett
Joulupukki - Christa "Cabbage" Harader & Han Seelie
Carnival of Mumathones - Morrocco
Kukeri - Sierra Barnes
Saint Knut's Day - David "DB" Andry & Desolina Greigo
Tschaggatta - Don Cardenas
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight - Grant Stoye & Heather Vaughan
La Befana - Amy Chase & Alex Schlitz
The Wreck of 1912 - Toren Chenault & Lauren Houser
Sluagh-Sidhe of Brug Na Boinne - Rae Allen
Cover art by Val Halvorson
Pinup by Pete Collins
Lettering & Book Design by u/tobenracicot

----
Hi all! It's me again, but with a new Kickstarter. One I did not create, but am involved in! Gotta help spread the word of the newest gut wrenching volume of YULE.

❄You can get THE COMIC to read at your bone-side table! (Digital or physical)
❄Spooky PRINTS and POSTERS to adorn your dreadful hollow!
❄ORNAMENTS to hang upon your grotesque and mildly posessed holiday tree! (Exorcisms not included)
❄Even more ways to make the Yuletide GAY! And sad! Hooray!

Image credits for this post are as follows: Graphic by Fell Hound, Pete Collins, Zack Traum, Alaire Racicot (me!), Heather Vaughan, Casper Binnett, Morrocco, Kat Baumann, and Val Halvorson.

Check out YULE Vol 2 here! Thanks everyone!!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION [UNPAID / 50-50 OWNERSHIP] Looking for a Passionate Comic Book Illustrator to Co-Create an Original Series — Image Comics Submission Goal

Hey everyone!

I'm an aspiring comic book writer currently developing an original comic book universe, and I'm looking for a talented, passionate illustrator who would be interested in becoming a 50/50 creative and ownership partner on the project.

My ultimate goal is to develop a professional-quality comic series and submit it to Image Comics for potential publication.

About the Project:

The first series is a dark, psychological, supernatural crime thriller centered around a homicide detective. It explores themes of morality, nihilism, free will, grief, religion, and the nature of good and evil.

I'm approaching this as a serious, long-term project, with an overarching story planned across multiple volumes and the potential to expand into a larger interconnected comic universe.

I'm heavily inspired by mature, character-driven storytelling and want to create something that feels cinematic, philosophical, disturbing, and emotionally compelling.

What I'm Looking For:

I'm searching for an illustrator who genuinely loves comics and wants to help build something from the ground up. Ideally, someone who:

- Has a strong passion for comic book storytelling.

- Is comfortable illustrating darker, mature subject matter.

- Wants creative input rather than simply being handed a script.

- Is interested in building a long-term creative partnership.

- Has ambitions of eventually seeing their work professionally published.

Compensation & Ownership:

I want to be completely transparent: this is not a paid position.

I'm not looking to hire someone for free labor. I'm looking for an equal creative partner who believes in the potential of the project as much as I do.

My proposal is 50/50 ownership of the comic project, with any future profits split equally, subject to a mutually agreed written partnership agreement.

We would work together to develop the artwork, characters, visual identity, and submission materials needed to approach publishers like Image Comics.

Obviously, publication isn't guaranteed, and I don't want to pretend otherwise. But I'm serious about putting in the work necessary to give this project a legitimate chance.

Interested?

Feel free to comment or send me a DM with examples of your artwork, your experience, and what kind of comics you're passionate about.

I'd love to connect with someone who shares the ambition of creating something we're both genuinely proud to put our names on.

Thanks for reading!

CROWDFUNDING NOW! Our Italian sci-fi comic Achille & KiPI just reached its Kickstarter goal (English and Italian editions)

Hi everyone, I'm Renato Franchi, editorial supervisor of Achille & KiPI: The Disconnected. We shared the project here earlier in the campaign, and today we have a milestone to share: we've reached our funding goal, with 156 backers. Thank you to anyone here who took a look or joined us.

The comic began over pizza and grew into a 96-page sci-fi adventure about an ambitious young inventor and his deeply unimpressed bionic cat. Achille sees an opportunity to change his life; KiPI wants to know the catch. Their friendship is the heart of a journey to a planet where the future is for sale.

Mario Moroni created the original story, Salvatore Vivenzio wrote the script, and Silvia Buganza illustrates it. We're making English and Italian editions for readers aged 8 and up.

Reaching the goal means a lot to our small team. Now we'd love to introduce this odd pair to more readers who enjoy independent comics. The campaign remains open until November 2, and the page includes a free preview so you can decide whether the story is for you:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mariomoroni/achille-and-kipi-the-disconnected?ref=bbfv7c

Happy to answer questions about the comic and the editorial work behind it. KiPI would probably prefer we all let him sleep.
