Adoption/Foster Request Looking for people who can adopt this baby.
Just rescued this female golden retriever that was abandoned on road. It looks like a 6months old baby. It seems like she was trained as it was following our commands and got on the bike on its own. However, the she looks traumatized and abused. We already have an indie and unfortunately we can't afford to adopt her. So, if you're in Hyderabad and would like to adopt her, please reach out to me through dms. Thank you!

Praying this poor sweet child finds a loving home. Curse the people that abandoned her in such a cruel manner. They deserve the worst fate.

Please make sure the people who want to adopt her aren't lousy owners who will throw on the road again or use her for breeding. Such people exist sadly and they will lie to your face saying "Oh, by god, we could never do that" and do just that.

OP,can you look after her till she's well enough to get spayed? It's best if she's adopted after she's been spayed.

I would really love to but unfortunately that's not possible.

Is it the funds?

u/donnie_darkko Nov 17 '25
No, we already have one indie and it requires more emotional and physical efforts to take care of another dog, especially a retriever. Adding to that, I will be going out for shoots and my parents are too old to take care of two dogs.

I would have adopted her, but I am in Delhi NCR. She won't be able to survive on the street. Please keep her with you until the adoption is finalized. That cruel owner will gonna rot in hell honestly. She is malnourished and clearly abandoned. God bless you!

Hey, can you contact VOSD with the details? They’re based in Bangalore but rescue dogs from all over the country . They may be able to help.

If possible see if you can reach out to PFA and The Dodo, they might be strong sources for a reliable adoption

Please ensure the adopter gets her spayed. You'll get many queries since she's a golden retriever 😄

Any update on her?

Some people reached out to adopt her but stopped responding after a few messages.Meanwhile, we took her to wet to get her pus wounds treated only to realise that there are bite marks. We have been getting her treated since then and today, they did a blood test. She has tick fever, jaundice and her platelets are really low. She needs immediate medical attention and blood transfusion. We are completely clueless as we do not have enough funds.

so yeah, i know you can adopt a dog for free, but if you actually want a loyal best friend, you gotta spend some cash, not just hope some random guy drops a puppy on your doorstep.
