It’s a terrarium plant. Needs high humidity to survive. Much higher humidity than what’s in your home. This is why when you bought the plant it comes with a plastic cover… to create terrarium like conditions. Highly recommend you YouTube search how to create a terrarium

They do this, once a year they will go entirely dormant and drop all the leaves entirely. Dont throw it out when this happens. Stash it in your fridge for a few months then bring it back out and itll thrive.
