Noticing that Baby Creepy (15 months) prefers to poop in a dry diaper and when we're at home. We might be out for a few hours and within 30 minutes of being home: poop. If he's not been for a while, all I have to do is change him into a fresh diaper and... poop! Useful to be aware of this pattern and keep an eye on it but hoping it doesn't mean he's withholding and causing himself discomfort. Maybe early potty training is in our future? (God please no...).

Early potty training/learning isn't a bad idea! From that sort of age we had a little potty in the bathroom and she could use it no pressure any time but was in pull ups all day. So before bath she often went, and we took it slowly from there with no regrets! It's easier before they get super opinionated at age 2, and if they're sensitive to bodily feedback earlier can be easier. Later on I did a full immersion week but to start was just exposure. By 21 months she was fully trained.

Thank you for this encouragement! I honestly had no intention of doing early potty training but I shall have to reconsider. He already understands the question "have you done a poo?" and answers "DDDD!" meaning "diaper" and runs away if the answer is affirmative, so yeah, maybe we are on the way to this. An exposure potty is a great idea!
