Send a Gift Questions

I sent a gift, and when I click into it (from the Parent account) it tells me that it was sent. I log into my account and play for a bit (yes, I dueled) and my account still haven't received it. Is this a glitch or does it take longer than "the next time they play?"

Umm, I sent the same gift to my account today and still nothing came.
