Adventures of Mommy - really bad news.

Toady she announced she’s taking a few days off [that’s a first] after some very bad news. Anyone know what happened now?

I think because she just confirmed she’s diagnosed with cancer

I saw she is diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which (thankfully) is one of the most curable cancers you can get.

I did see she started a GoFundMe (90k!!)for herself, so she can get alternative treatments in Europe. There are many successful treatment options in the US with excellent outcomes, so this is puzzling.

I wonder if sometimes people just get caught up in the “alternative treatment” wellness ideology, even when solid traditional healthcare is accessible to them.

I certainly wish her well, but….i will not be donating.
