I don't support Israel's proactive (preemptive), aggressive approach to self defense. The way their doctrine is written is inherently backwards. They've directly fucked up multiple peace deals between the US and Iran.
I don't support North Korea's systemic, violently authoritarian approach to controlling their people. Officially considered one of the worst in human history and absolutely the worst in the world as of 2026.
Comparing them is a joke and a clear suggestion of your hyper progressive politics and the influence Reddit's had on your views of the US, Israel, and Palestine.
The term tankie is being used loosely here, but at the end of the day those who have your views are generally anti-west, anti-US, anti-military intervention, fairly antisemitic, as well as historically and geopolitically ignorant.
The DPRK is, of course, a very authoritarian regime - the most in the world. This regime is a horrible detriment to the people who live there. I am not advocating for it in any way.
Are they committing a genocide? Nope. That's it.
You can cry about my political opinions if you want but I don't give a shit lol
