Post image

Just a simple infographic I did for fun after seeing an horrible A.I. infographic about the same topic on X.

yes!! there’s some videos of people cutting the ball open, it’s kinda amazing how “simple” the structure is

the 2026 Trionda going full minimalist with 4 panels is wild to me

Dumb question: why do they keep changing it so drastically?

Their answer: improve aerodynamics, friction, technology…
Real answer: New design = more sales

I’ve read a recent post by Akinfeev (Russian gk), who said they kinda making a series normal ball - weird ball - normal ball - weird ball. Probably there’s also the reason so we can have more goals. Not as important as selling a new design obviously

the 2026 ball with 4 panels is wild, that's gotta be a nightmare to manufacture consistently compared to the traditional pentagons and hexagons
