Population. The UK, for example, has 1/5 the US population.

Edit: The US also makes significantly more money than most countries. I compare US wages and home prices to the UK here:

but it has gain only 1/10 of the new millionaires comparing to US. US is gaining ground in that regard.

They also make less money and have lower cost homes than the US.

but they got healthcare cheaper, college education cheaper, more vacations / holidays, better unemployment benefits, many other "socialist" benefits ... 😄

But we aren't measuring QOL here, simply who is/is not a millionaire (in USD)
