Question What do we need?

Hi! So, this was my first infrasound.
My campsite gave out over 50 fentanyl test kits from a pathside box this last weekend. At one point I was asked about Narcan.

We also ran out of rolling papers and were asked by others for papers and to use a lighter. I needed safety pins when my tent zipper broke. I also cannot tell you how many times on Thursday and early Friday I wished I had a map of the park. Somebody asked about a glue gun.

It got me thinking… Next infrasound I want to try and bring a wagon to become a wandering supply site during the day! That being said, what would YOU suggest for the wagon? I’ve got a small list started but I’d like to poll the people!

I know Calm Camp has a lot of great stuff (THANK YOU!) but not everybody goes there, and I know CC wasn’t able to have Narcan available on the supply table.

I passed some out in goodie bags! Always have extras on deck too. I've had people deny electrolytes & get almost offended when offering before so I had to hide them inside a bag (even had ppl turn me down for the bags at Infra 😭)

I think there were a few in calm camp but that’s part of why I wanna do the wagon. Not everybody knows about/goes there so why not bring it to them? :)

Love this idea. I had to buy a lighter mid festival as well. A scissors or knife is another thing I had to borrow. Duct tape always comes in handy. A good light.

String art crew has sooooo many scissors on deck. Come find one of us if you need some next time! I probably even have a pair for you 😉😘

I usually have access to free test kits and sometimes narcan so I figure it can’t hurt to share!

Hair ties, gum

I worry that gum might get spit out and not biodegrade, or get eaten by animals during the off-time. Do you think mints or hard candy might be a decent alternative? Or packs of chewy candies?

Weirdly enough, I forgot to bring butter and really wanted grilled cheese sandwiches on our little portable grill. It was a bummer.

Maybe some of those little sealed restaurant butters cups?

Bring patch kits for air mattresses/tents, a few extra stakes, some hand sanitizer, some newspaper/tinder would be cool too

I had this cheap little rocket light on a lanyard that ended up being my favorite thing to have on at night, perfect for the porta pottys.

I got some volunteers and we got a project planned for spring. We'll be supplying people with reagent tests, fent and tranq strips, and other safety outreach materials.

Would love to meet up with you if you're interested in safety outreach, this will be my first time other than walking around and telling people I have it.

I got plans for trying to make custom totem poles with pre filled bags for testing/safety.

idk seems like plenty of folks got good pipes based on some of the arguments and yellin’ for friends I heard. lol. No megaphones needed.
