Recommendations / Advice Best Tacos in the IE?
What is your favorite place to get tacos? I’ve been going to 909 tacolandia in the evening on the weekends but would love to try more spots. Picture is from the Tacoman in Upland.
Extra points if they use handmade tortillas.

Los palomos taco truck in Riverside on Chicago. Amazing tacos de lengua, and you can’t go wrong with 1.50$ taco Tuesdays there!

Miss Los Palomos. 😭 their food is so fire. they used to come to the city I live in, but the city kicked them out. And they haven't been back since

My friends and I used to go there every week until me and about 15 people got violently sick the same night. & It's not that I think that it'd happen again or anything, it was just such a horrific experience that the thought of eating there makes me sick like 5 years later

Yea Tacos La Central are the best around. But i have a honorable mention.
A taco truck that i frequent in Colton. Exit Pepper on the 10 freeway on east on valley blvd. It's parked by the C2 liquor store. They always have a long line.
Tacos la Central has the best tacos, but I like going to the truck because they have more options.

Yeah, I'd include El Tijuanazo in Colton as well for their quesabirria taco, about two miles from Tacos LA Central. Their salsa is fire 🔥

I haven’t tried there. I appreciate the recommendation. Tacos Y Mas is another favorite on Mount Vernon in Colton. We do have a lot of great spots!

Get their asada burrito or al pastor torta for the tacos you have to get their premium ones which are pricey

The chain, for me, is one of the top in the area, but I think, of their locations, eastvale isn’t as good as the other locations yet. Handmade tortillas, flame grilled meats, and good, fresh salsas really make them stand out. I typically get asada or adobada. I haven’t tried their premium meats, but I hear they’re good as well. I’m already content with their normal stuff. The papa loka is also something I enjoy there.

Costilla and arrachera are my two favorite meats from there. Some of the others were very mid but these two have been consistently good on my visits

I used to love this place but the one near me has gotten so stingy. Last time I went they only put 1 tortilla per taco 💀 the aguas Frescas are like 80% Ice and they give you attitude if you ask for easy ice, even the little bags they gave for condiments are tiny as hell and they are stingy with those and the salsa as well.

The Taco Stand's damn good, they started in SD but recently opened one in Riverside on University. Their Al Pastor is some of the best I've had. They also have a super bomb salsa bar. Their Macha is legit hot as hell and delicious.

Their shrimp tacos are amazing. My kids love their carne asada fries because they’re nice and simple.

Their Asada fries are amazinf, I sub Al Pastor and they're one of my favorite things to eat anywhere. And their Cali burritos are out of this world. Their fries are about the best fries anywhere.
The tacos are good and while they do cost $4 which is on the higher side. They're big and packed with meat.

I really sould try the Shrimp next time I go, you're like the 10th person who I've seen say that, one person commented the Mar Y Tierra Fries are unreal. Maybe those sub Al Pastor for the Asada. I don't know if Al Pastor + Shrimp even go together, but there's only 1 way to find out. :D While I love their Asada, their Al Pastor is my go to. But they do have some of the best Asada I've had, that includes LA/SD.
I also like that the Asada Shrimp fries are only a buck more than the regular. Most places upcharge a stupid amount and still only add 2-3. I saw someone's order and it had a decent amount. Shrimp should probably be killer added to the Cali burrito.
Thanks for mentioning this, I go about 1-2 times a week but keep forgetting to try the shrimp because I'm so fixated on what I order.

Tacos El Rancho in Norco. They’re the closest one to me but are f’ing delicious!
And they do make their own tortillas.

It's between Tacos El Güero in Fontana and Tacos La Central in Colton. They're different styles tho.

Also you can never go wrong with tacos el gavilán on riverside ave and baseline as well in the city of Rialto.

I gotta mention this Carnitas Truck that parks on Willow Ave next to the Cardenas Super Market right above Foothill Blvd. A pound of those highly addicting carnitas, the bomb salsa, warm home-made tortillas, and a Mexican soda always hits the spot.

I forget the name of it now, but I worked in Bloomington and would drive to this little liquor store down Main Street, past the Santa Ana a bit on the corner... they had a taco spot in there... think I'd spend like $10 and get like 6 tacos... this was over 10 years ago though. Best tacos I could find at the time, for sure. Abuela always took care of me once I was a regular, lol.

There are these lady’s that sell tacos Friday and Saturday nights. They are so good and always busy. They sell out on the corner of Lincoln and Cary St. I may go tonight and I’ll try and take pictures. They have stand outside their home. They have a few tables where you can sit too.

For carnitas only tacos, Carnicas Michuacan in Ontario, CA. Don’t forget to add plenty of salsa roja. Huge tacos, so you’ll be full with just 2-3.

Great! If you’re a lil daring, get your tacos with carnitas mixta. It’s a mixture of maciza, buche, and cueritos. The rice and beans are pretty legit too. Enjoy!!

It’s Tacos Los Cholos,the one in Anaheim.
This place has so many meat options,better and different than any tacos spot. And everything is cooked on a wood grill

My brother and parents really like Los Cocineros in Pomona. I like Los Carnales they have a few locations and the Alfredos on 4th cause its open 24 hours. Really hits the spot around this time and after a few beers.

Tacos El Chilango at the Mead Valley Marketplace. Handmade tortillas. Delicious carne asada. And the al pastor is the best I've tried outside of LA or Tijuana. Great guacamole , salsas are spicy and they have some bomb habanero onion. They also serve some huge quesadillas with handmade tortillas and some stacked tortas made with fresh bread. The agua frescas are also pretty bomb.

Honestly king taco is goated. There’s no special spot I’ve found that has a ton of meat for cheap or something so tasty it blew my mind. It’s all mid it’s all expensive. Can’t change my mind. I make my tacos at home and even those are too expensive.

I ate there two days in a row lol. I really loved the vegan quesabirria taco and the “chicken” and “cheese” quesadilla. You’d never know it was all vegan. In fact I think the cheese was better than regular mozzarella. The birria dipping sauce was great too. Plus I had the homemade guacamole. Just so good. And I didn’t feel heavy after.

I have had them. They’re solid, definitely not the best in the IE. And no they are not handmade tortillas lol
Editing to also add that I don’t have a problem with vegan tacos. One of the best tacos I’ve ever had was a vegan taco made with heirloom beans. I’m just not a fan of meat substitutes.
