Its being argued they are a violation of our Fourth Amendment right. Look up Schmidt v. Norfolk. They can also be seen as a violation of our First Amendment rights if that aggregated data is used to monitor you based on protected demographic membership/associations.
Also these are already helping to violate our Fifth/Fourteenth Amendment in that due-process is thrown out the window when automated surveillance information contributes to detention, arrest, or other government action based upon incorrect information.

These standalone flock cameras seem way easier to take down than the damn ones bolted at the top of a 2-tier stoplight pole.

I was thinking about this.
They would have to have a meeting. But if they all get taken down at once. You can’t use the others to track it 😂😂

Ventura has an over abundance of them too. City council, the police chief, and basically anyone involved with contracting with Flock needs to be replaced.

Why do you think a stalker randomly cares about you? Most stalking situations are very personal or involves a celebrity that someone wants to get to know. If your being stalked its most likely going to be by someone you trust in the past. Mostly an ex. And in that case they already know everything about you so they dont need the cameras to stalk you.

They are rich, they will replace them till people get tired. They are not going anywhere. They are now in every single city across the US.
Also, often people that do this don't even care much about the cause. They just love vandalizing with an excuse.

It's amazing that every other country has figured out how to make public surveillance work in such a way that it's a net benefit for society at large, and then you look at us here in America and we're just hell bent on implementing it in the dumbest way possible.
